I am very satisfied with Dimmitt Cadillac.. I am from CT and spend 5 to 6 months here in ST Pete. I do service up in CT. Wonderful buying experience for Valentine's Day. My husband and I recently purchased a new XTS. The saleswoman, Kathleen Doyle-Gibson was wonderful and extremely knowledgeable about the car.She ha My husband and I recently purchased a new XTS. The saleswoman, Kathleen Doyle-Gibson was wonderful and extremely knowledgeable about the car.She had the patience to teach me about all the new technology and gadgets in the vehicle, I am not tech savvy but Kathleen managed to get me through it. The initial reaction on coming into the showroom, I s Purchased a new 15 SRX From this Dealership that I assumed was a "Customer Truthful" Dealership? The initial reaction on coming into the showroom, I should have had a "Red Flag" alert. Instead of Dealing with what I thought was a Saleswoman who I assumed was ethical, instead I felt later had a "USED CAR" flair of selling autos. Before I sat down to discuss my purchase I emphatically explained that If I purchase I wanted a "Professional Paint Sealer" applied to the vehicle .That Subject on my part was not a (Fleeting) topic, I had repeated myself over, and over. She stated "Yes" unequivocally every time she answered my queries. Wrote it onto her notes while asking my personal preferences on the vehicle I may be interested in.Purchased vehicle early August of 2015 ,and two weeks later inquired why She did not do as we discussed? Got nowhere with her. Unfortunately, she also gave me the wrong rims that I had picked out. She pleaded with me not to bring that up to her Boss, because she stated she did not make much money, and would get fired, so I acquiesced (heartstrings). Went to her manager(Don) and never heard from him.Looks like this is the last time for Dimmitt Cadillac for me......ps. Called GM to report... More
Navigation is a trap. Don't jump so fast! The dealer did a fabulous job from Sales cycle to delivery. My biggest disappointment is the Navigation System. I had the car on loan for a few days s The dealer did a fabulous job from Sales cycle to delivery. My biggest disappointment is the Navigation System. I had the car on loan for a few days so I knew I wanted it, but it seemed like Onstar was a navigation system and have learned that it is a turn by turn audio system (sorry not the same as Navigation System) not what I want. Even after looking at GM's website is looked like the car had NAV, as it said Navigation with Cue. Once I had the car home and created the On Star Account I learned that is not what I got. As a BMW lover since 1977 and a critic of their Navigation System I was willing to move on to GM. I've also had Toyota, Lexus and Mercedes. Imagine my disappoinment, I have NAVigation and Cue but no map and no way to save my route etc. Thankfully I have my Iphone, but it is like going back into the 1980's when I had to look down at a printed Mapquest. REALLY GM?? More
