Bought a used Kia Soul , they told me that the car had been thoroughly checked and serviced. The service report showed that the windshield wipers had been replaced and nothing else. Took the car to my me been thoroughly checked and serviced. The service report showed that the windshield wipers had been replaced and nothing else. Took the car to my mechanic for trouble shifting and hard to start, $630 later paid for a crankshaft position sensor replacement, a rt/front lower control arm assembly replacement and most disappointing was that he told me it was very on oil and the oil was black!!! Your own service department didn't even check the oil! The crankshaft sensor would have showed a code on a computer check, the control arm assembly problem would have been hard to miss if the car had been on a lift, and the oil should have been replaced. More
