Car went in because the steering column locked up while driving after $600 was told nothing found, less than a week locked up 4-5 more times so we took it back. Surprise issue found this time BUT part coul driving after $600 was told nothing found, less than a week locked up 4-5 more times so we took it back. Surprise issue found this time BUT part could not be gotten....in the almost SIX MONTHS they have had my car. POOR at best communication, no resolve and tried to charge to pick up car since I am making payments when NOTHING has been done. The car has sat there for months, battery has gone bad, gas, oil , etc probably bad, tires not moved so possible dry rot setting in and dash extremely dry from setting in the sun all summer. Federal law apparently states car manufactures must have replacement parts for cars 10 year or newer...mine is a 2017! NO parts, NO help, NO NOTHING but wants payment REALLY? For what? GM called and phone line was horrible, never got another call back, Corporate has been involved since the start of the second round no help. DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR TO THEM IF YOU WANT IT FIXED. Single mom, four kids, no ride...isn't that great! More
Terrible service department. I only had my brand-new car a year. I call to make an appointment to have my car serviced, and no one answers the phone. Poor customer service. I I only had my brand-new car a year. I call to make an appointment to have my car serviced, and no one answers the phone. Poor customer service. I do not recommend anyone ever buying from this dealership as they lack professionalism. They sell you the car and then good luck, you are off on your own. More
DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. Go somewhere else. Dan the sales manager uses descriptive sales practice and the GM Roy Gilliam is a joke to say the least. I purchased 2 Genesis Lux Go somewhere else. Dan the sales manager uses descriptive sales practice and the GM Roy Gilliam is a joke to say the least. I purchased 2 Genesis Luxury vehicles from this dealership and found several inaccuracies on the contract. They dodge your calls and when they finally answer they try to blame the customer. Save your time and money, just go to the dealership in Greer. More
Visiting from Florida and my Tuscon Hyundai was not identifying my key. Stopped at the dealership and was told they couldn't help me - I would need to go to Greer or Anderson because they were short st identifying my key. Stopped at the dealership and was told they couldn't help me - I would need to go to Greer or Anderson because they were short staffed. I asked if they could call ahead for me and was told no - I would need to call. Here, I was from out of the area and they didn't have the common courtesy to help me. I never had this kind of treatment from Toyota - I know where I will be buying my next car. More
Very dissatisfied with the customer service I have received from this service shop. They Did NOT put my oil filter/gasket back on my car. About week later my car was rocking oldly and making weird mot received from this service shop. They Did NOT put my oil filter/gasket back on my car. About week later my car was rocking oldly and making weird motions while in park and trying to drive. I called to make an appointment to have it looked at and they told me it seemed a quart or two was lost from my car (the lake in my driveway says otherwise, I know I Lost ALL my oil.) They sent me on my way telling me it was fixed. Two days later my car barely started. I called yet again, And the general manager (Roy Gilliam), is not willing to help me. He even hung up on me while trying to speak with him on getting to a resolution. My car is unsafe to drive, I am 5 months pregnant. I guarantee if this was one of their loved ones they wouldn't want them driving on the highway in an unsafe vehicle. My car is barely a year old, this is unacceptable for a new car to be going through all of these issues. I just want to be taken care of professionally since this was not even my mistake. More
After my month-long service experience with Dick Smith Hyundai of Greenville, I left feeling absolutely mistreated and taken advantage of simply because I was not sitting in the waiting room, nor did I pu Hyundai of Greenville, I left feeling absolutely mistreated and taken advantage of simply because I was not sitting in the waiting room, nor did I purchase my vehicle from this dealership. This resulted in my car issues not being considered promptly nor a priority after weeks of being at their shop and they proved that repeatedly. It took this facility (30) days to get my vehicle up and running, and charged me $2,846.47 for a Starter, (1) Fuel Injector, (1) Spark Plug, and a Oil Change. Dick Smith Hyundai of Greenville is an unorganized and dishonest facility with mediocre mechanics. More
Dick Smith Hyundai, and salesman Todd Smith were a pleasure to deal with! We visited this dealership and a dozen others to find a Tucson. We gave Todd the information on a desired vehicle, and he foun pleasure to deal with! We visited this dealership and a dozen others to find a Tucson. We gave Todd the information on a desired vehicle, and he found one within a month which suited us perfectly. All the others had the same opportunity, Todd was the only one who took the initiative to find us a vehicle! More
On April 22, 2021, I traded in my Ford Escape and purchased and drove off the lot in a Hyundai Santa Fe from Hyundai dealership in Greenville. I was told I was financed through Wells Fargo and my fir purchased and drove off the lot in a Hyundai Santa Fe from Hyundai dealership in Greenville. I was told I was financed through Wells Fargo and my first payment would be due on 6/6/21. Well since that day I have been back and forth between Hyundai and Wells Fargo. Long story short, Hyundai lied! Wells Fargo has informed me that the auto loan was not approved. Hyundai does not return my phone calls and when I have went back to the dealership to speak with the manager in person he has continued to tell me they are working it out and WF is taking a long time. Meanwhile I’ve had to pay May and June car payment on my Ford Escape bc since their is no auto loan it has not been paid off. The car isn’t registered either with the DMV. At this point, I want to return this Hyundai, get my down payment returned and my Ford Escape I traded in and go elsewhere to find a car. I have spoke to Ted and Wesley Butts only when I went up there in person. No one returns my phone calls and I’ve gotten nothing but the runaround. I want my down payment back and I want to return this car bc I do not want to have anything to do with this dealership. I will be letting every social media outlet about this as well since no one wants to handle this situation. This has stressed me out immensely. If I have to keep this car, I want the purchase price lowered and I will get it financed through my credit union. More
