He decided he needed a new compact vehicle with good ratings and we decided that a Hyundai Elantra might be the best bet. He looked at the vehicles online that Dick Hannah of Portland posted and submitted a bid. Our visit to the dealership couldn't have gone better -- Blake Woodard, our sales associate, took our son's lead, answered all his questions, and never pressured him. Our son actually finally chose a car with more features than he had originally asked for and is very glad he did. Blake and other people there never hurried him, even though we ended up finishing the paperwork long after closing. They were helpful, cheerful and gracious. More

Great service! We had a great experience with James! We went to the Dick Hannah dealership in Vancouver and were ultimately hesitant to go to another Dick Hannah but We had a great experience with James! We went to the Dick Hannah dealership in Vancouver and were ultimately hesitant to go to another Dick Hannah but it was absolutely wonderful service. SO much better than the Vancouver location. James was quick and incredibly knowledgeable on Hyundais. As somebody who is completely new to them, it was super helpful to get extra info on them. It was refreshing that he could actually answer where stuff was on the car, what something is for. And more importantly, he was honest when he didn't know the answer to something. James has definitely done his homework. I never got the sleazy salesman vibe from James or any of the other salespeople and I appreciate that. James knew I didn't want any of the add-on's, warranties, etc. and didn't waste my time. He of course did his due diligence in making sure I knew about them, but it was nice to speed that part of the process along. Finance however was a little different. I knew the routine of gap insurance, warranty, lojack, etc. The finance guy gave me a look like I was completely ignorant when I firmly and politely said "You know, I'm not interested in the extras, so it's okay." He still listed them off and tried to quiz me on what type of gap insurance I had. Typical finance guy stuff, but I just wasn't having it. That was the only downfall - honestly the good experience is enough to weigh out the annoying finance office experience. It was still 1000x better than the previous experience. I would refer anybody looking for a Hyundai or VW to Dick Hannah and James. Not only for the customer service, but the price on all of their cars was much better than other local dealerships. More
