I did the negotiation in person, it was a pleasant process, and we talked down to the price i want. and he let you know everything about my forester that I need to know and very helpful to answer my questions quick and nice every time. Note: be sure to ask questions about charges that are added to complete your transaction. Brian Ramsdell was the salesman who helped facilitate the deal and took us on a test drive of the vehicle we wanted. He was incredibly knowledgeable and courteous. He went over and above what we expected, even cleaning our car when no one else was available to do the task. He handled all the paperwork in an efficient manner, considering what we will mention later. Becky Clausen, who handled the financial and vehicle registration end of the transaction, was very quick and didn't pressure us to buy anything we didn't want. This was an incredible experience--fairly fast, low pressure and we got an awesome car. We were hesitant to rate the overall experience as a "5" considering the amount of time it took to actually put pen to paper. We had a purchase price already negotiated and were paying in cash, but it still took two and a half hours to walk out the door (not including the test drive). Our salesman was literally having to run back and forth to management for reasons we don't quite fully understand. Kudos to Brian for excellent service. No other dealer in the portland area had the color in stock, but dick hannah had a couple.
