Upon first arrival at Dick Hannah Subaru, my wife and I were approached by a gentlemen by the name, Pete. We had friendly conversation about what type of cars we were looking at. When we showed him the car that we wanted, he said that, "It was in a different location, either we (My wife and I) could drive there, or I (Pete) could drive you there and test drive it back". I said to Pete, "How about we all go there together and test drive it back?" Thus, we went there and test drove it back. All while having a fantastic conversation there and back about many things. Finally, I really enjoyed how Pete didn't seem to "Push a car down our throat" like other salesmen usually do. I felt as though we had been friends for a long time and Pete made us feel very confortable. I hold Pete in the highest regard as one of the best salesmen I have ever had to deal with. I first met Ron Mentek six months ago while casually cruising the lot during my preliminary search into the Outback. Ron was friendly and informative, allowing me to "window shop" without pressure. Fast forward- I contacted Ron again via email (along with with 4 other local Subaru dealers in the Portland Metro area) with the exact specifications/options of the Outback I wanted. I asked for best price quotations and comprehensive offers. Ron, Dick Hannah Subaru, provided the best OTD price with the best customer service!! We finalized our deal on the phone, and Ron had our new car waiting inside the showroom garage when we arrived! (That was a particularly nice touch, considering it was a dark and rainy day.) I was completely blown away by the incredible service I received and by the sales team and management. Through out the entire sale, I was taken care of. Brain was great very friend and helpful i enjoyed the work with him, as well as becky she is very friendly and very easy to work with. The rest of the dealership was not so good. i drove up to look at th work with him, as well as becky she is very friendly and very easy to work with. The rest of the dealership was not so good. i drove up to look at the car and it was in the shop locked up with no way to look at it and was never compensated for the drive and gas used. then it took 2 weeks for them to update Brian on the status of the car. It got to be frustrating but not because of Brian. Wish the communication and response was better for a future customer as myself and a little compensation for the miss communication that cost me time and money would've been taken into consideration more. More

I drove three hours to look at a car that I had already negotiated a price (Tyler) for over the phone with their internet salesmen. Working with them was easy and an overall good experience until I got to negotiated a price (Tyler) for over the phone with their internet salesmen. Working with them was easy and an overall good experience until I got to the dealership. The wife and I called and talked to Marcus to let him know we were on the way 2.5 hours before getting there. When I looked at the car it was not prepared and had a check engine light, low (almost flat) tires and the gas tank was well below empty. When I confronted the sales person about the dealership putting gas in the car he said that they can only put it about 5 gallons, I wasn't going to accept that so he got approval to fill it up from the GSM. So after a three hour drive (plus about 30 minutes lost) and getting a check from the back to get this car, we sit at the table and a different number was laid out. My wife said to check the notes for the price because we new, for a fact, that it was in there and let me tell you how we know. We know because the night before we has two different internet salesmen confirmed (Marcus and Tyler) that it was and we called back to confirm the price, which it was confirmed, and that is why I drove all the way there to get the car. We were there for hours and we were both furious at what was happening. At the end before we left, we spoke to the GSM and he showed us the notes that were made and it looked like something was dealed. Not only that but there was a gap where it should have said the price we agreed upon and that was the only not recorded (noted) phone call on the entire 3 pieced of paper!!! Do not go here, There is so much more to the story but I am honestly tired of typing and want to eat breakfast. I guess this is how they TREAT THERE MILLITARY PERSONEL at this dealership. Its nice getting back from my last deployment just to get screwed by the people I protect and make sacrifices for every single day. More
