Poor communication, no one at the dealership seemed to know anything. Your service person did not tell me or my wife that there was going to be a charge for the diagnostic. He claims he did, which is a straight out misleading comment. What I’m going to allow someone that I don’t know and I’ve never had any interaction with. I’m a Disabled Veteran and a senior citizen I’ve been there and done that. Just don’t think for one fen minute that I would mislead anyone at your dealership. If I said you don’t tell me, then you don’t tell me. This is the 2nd time that this dealership has not able to take care of the problem with my vehicle. To make matters worse, you have employees trying to get over on the customer, in my situation it cost me $200.00 dollars U.S. and I still feel your service person made a serious mistake on his behalf. Diamond Ford Lancaster has been "TERRIBLE" to me since the purchase date (March 24, 2023) of my vehicle. I believe there is a serious Management problem there. Upon delivering my vehicle to Diamond Ford the purchase date (March 24, 2023) of my vehicle. I believe there is a serious Management problem there. Upon delivering my vehicle to Diamond Ford on May 23, 2023 at approximately 9:00 a.m., I checked in with Jessica from Service department, who conducted an inspection and verified all the items that were agreed to be fixed by Diamond Ford Lancaster that were on the Diamond Ford's "TO-DO" list document when I purchased the vehicle on March 24, 2023. After discovering from Jessica that all the items on the Diamond Ford's "TO DO" list for my vehicle could Not be done all in the same day on May 23, 2023, she communicated with Rene (Sales person) and arranged for Diamond Ford to provide me with a loaner vehicle until all the repairs and areas of concern were completed. So I accepted the loaner vehicle on May 23, 2023 and left my vehicle with Diamond Ford Lancaster. On May 31, 2023, I received a call from Jessica at the Service Dept stating my vehicle was ready for pick up. So I arrived at Diamond Ford, Lancaster on June 3, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. to return the loaner vehicle and pick up my gray 2020 Ford F150 Platinum. Upon checking in with Sales dept, I stated I was here to pick up my gray 2020 Ford F150 Platinum. When they brought my vehicle around front for me to retrieve it, I could "clearly see" my vehicle had Not been "detailed" as Diamond Ford Lancaster reps had previously promised to do, and as was listed on the Diamond Ford's "TO DO" list. So I respectfully expressed my dissatisfaction that I had driven over 2.5 hours from home after being told my vehicle was ready to be picked up, only to discover upon arrival that my vehicle was "Not" ready to be picked up. My vehicle was supposed to have been "Detailed" but it was dusty and dirty on the inside and outside. I walked around and pointed out to "Eric" (Sales Floor Manager) all the dust and dirt on the vehicle. Eric clearly noticed the problem and proceeded inside to get someone to expedite proceeding to "detail" my vehicle as promised. At that point, the problem now caused me to have to wait around for additional hours for Diamond Ford to "detail" my vehicle. Overall, I arrived at Diamond Ford at approximately 9:00 a.m. on June 3, 2023 to pick up my vehicle, but could not leave until approximately 5:00 p.m. due to the delays with not "detailing" my vehicle as promised. When they were "so-called" complete with the "detail", there were still dirty areas. Then subsequently I discovered a new scratched painted area of the body above the front bumper that had occurred while my vehicle was in Diamond Ford's possession between the period I initially dropped my vehicle off with Diamond Ford on May 23, 2023 and the day I came back to pick it up on June 3, 2023. Therefore, I ended up losing my whole day on June 3, 2023. So I pointed out the damaged (scratched) area to Rene and Eric. Then Eric went to get Hamid Sandoghdar (Sales Manager) whom I showed the problem to. I expressed to Hamid that my vehicle is further Not ready for pick up due to this new problem. Hamid gave me his business card and stated to me to go ahead and take the vehicle home and locate a repair shop in my local area who can do the "touch-up" fix that he thought would be needed. He asked me to email him the repair estimate and that Diamond Ford would send me a check to pay for it. I agreed. However, upon taking my vehicle from Diamond Ford Lancaster that day, I went to a repair shop in my local area. Upon showing the problem to an "experienced eye" of a person who does this type of repair all the time, it was clear that Hamid does Not have a trained and experienced eye for this type of repair, considering he mentioned the word "touch-up". So the repair shop's experienced tech stated the problem would definitely spread if it was not fixed the right way and cause further problems, then provided me an estimate.
