I found a car that I liked online at Delaware Cadillac and made an appointment for a test drive. From the moment he greeted me, Doug made me feel welcome and at ease. Thanks to Doug, at no point throughout the entire process did I feel uncomfortable - no super sales pitch, no pressure, no car gibberish that I don't understand. Doug is very professional yet fun and funny to work with! A few hours later I had the car that I wanted and was totally please with the entire process - thank you Doug!!!! More

Great Experience Start to Finish I recently purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Delaware Cadillac and had a great experience working with Doug. We stopped in on a whim one day to check I recently purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Delaware Cadillac and had a great experience working with Doug. We stopped in on a whim one day to check out a car we had seen online, and Doug was welcoming and friendly from the get-go. I appreciated his honesty and that he gave us space and time to chat between the two of us as needed. We were not able to purchase the day we dropped by, so we left our information and said we would be back a few days later. Doug respected our space, checking in once the night before our arranged meeting time to make sure we were still planning on stopping by. Having been on the receiving end of some VERY pushy salesmen in the past, I appreciated Doug giving us time to gather our thoughts. When we stopped back by, Doug patiently answered all our new questions and worked with us to provide the best value for our budget. Having never bought a car from a dealer before, I was a little skeptical of being pushed into something that was not the right fit, but Doug eased my fears and helped us find a great car for our needs and budget. A not so great purchasing experience After my car was totaled, I was contacted by the Delaware Cadillac sales team because I had brought my damaged vehicle to their body shop before it wa After my car was totaled, I was contacted by the Delaware Cadillac sales team because I had brought my damaged vehicle to their body shop before it was declared totaled. I went there and ended up making a deal to purchase a newer used vehicle with terms that worked for me. I was told that the vehicle comes with a 100,000 mile comprehensive warranty. It all seemed to go so easy. Too easy. The sales person firstly told me that he would be prepared to deliver the car to me after it is detailed and some minor body work is performed. This was promised to me at no cost. Several days later, the sales person called and told me that there was a little problem and I needed to come in and speak to his manager. When I did, the manager told me that the body work was more money than the sales person anticipated and I was expected to pay half. The manager was rude, spoke over me, and tried to tell me that they shoe horned the deal together for me like they were doing me a favor. I refused to pay half because it was THEIR mistake. Not mine. I should not have to pay for their mistake, but I ended up paying less than half to make the deal. A week later, I finally go to pick up my vehicle. The finance representative offered me warranty options to purchase. I said the vehicle comes with a 100,000 mile warranty. He was shocked to hear that and went back to the sales person. The sales person looked me in the eye and said he doesn't remember saying any such thing and doesn't even know what warranty options are available with a Subaru - yet he sold me this car. I was told that I must have misunderstood or didn't hear correctly. I know what I heard and had to deal with two men trying to talk me down and tell me I heard no such thing. I had already committed to purchasing the vehicle or I would have walked away. Between the sales person making promises he would soon "forget," a manager who spoke down to me, over me and expected me to be "fair" and pay for their mistake, and a warranty that only I seem to remember I would not recommend this dealership. At all. The finance representative told me he would be contacting me today with options about the warranty - he didn't want me to leave dissatisfied. Obviously, he is also forgetful of his words as I have heard nothing and it is lunch time. I would also state with confidence that if I were a man, this would never have been an issue. July 11, 2019 After my original posting, I contacted the General Manager and left a message. I also posted a review directly on the dealership website. He never called me, but we communicated by text. He said this would be used as a learning opportunity for the people involved. After all was said and done, the General Manager and his associate lived up to the warranty the sales person originally told me came with the car. So, I have a 100,000 mile warranty now and am pleased about that. The overall experience was still not a great one for me. However, I can say that I am pleased with the vehicle itself and I am pleased that the General Manager made good on what was promised to me originally. At least from the warranty perspective. More

Not sure why a brand new vehicle tires are ashy looking, wasnt given any car washes with this brand new purchase at this location, if you buy in Pa you are given almost 5. And the other dealers not luxury give free car washes to used car purchases..imagine that. I also had to put my own tag on my car not a big deal to some but it is to me ..luxury not the service is worse than a buy here pay here lot. They only care about the sell once its sold they dont give a xxxx about you at all. They dont return calls either they will ignore you and never respond I suggest for anyone to buy in Pa skip this place. and if your forced to go here they need to be supervised with what ever they doing..dont believe it. And watch who they cater to. And the person that referred me still hasnt gotten the referral money they are supposed to receive . My biggest problem is that this place should not.be.giving average or below average service. It should be unacceptable. They need to learn how to exceptional service.. Disappointed More
