A friend recommended the Subaru family of cars, saying they were super reliable, and that All Wheel Drive was standard, a plus for Mid-west winters. I started looking into Subaru's and found the Legacy model was to my liking. I looked all around, and sadly the closest i could find was within my price range, but in Chicago. Then a few days after i decided i might look for something else, i found an 09 Legacy in the Dean Team inventory. The color was nice, so i e-mailed them. After that Meg was very response and nice. She always sent a friendly e-mail, and responded most days before i could even get back to check my e-mail. Not having to wait days like i had with other places was nice. They made the purchase as smooth as possible. I was hesitant to the idea of getting a car that was in a city 2 hours away, but it ended up working out perfectly. I got there, and within an hour they had me out the door in my new Subaru. Justin and Meg were a real pleasure to work with. I can definitely say i will recommend them to anyone that asks, and hopefully in the future be getting a new car from them as well. More

I just recently purchased my 2010 Jetta from the Dean Team, and they could not have made the process any easier. I have had a few credit issues and was worried about getting approved. The finance manager, Eric, worked on it for two days, and called me with a great rate. Went I went to do the paperwork, Eric was very easyto deal with and answered all of all of my questions. I had gone to a couple other Volkswagen dealerships, and the salesmen didn’t seem like they wanted to help me out, but when I got to the Dean Team, they were fantastic. I highly recommend them. More
The best recommendation for a dealer is if you would return to purchase another car. We returned to Dean Team VW Ballwin to purchase our second car. We were very knowledgable about the car since we had done a lot of research the first time around. We again worked with Scott Roberts to get the car we wanted at a very good price. Scott is an excellent sales person; he is honest, easy to talk to, and very responsive. In no way do you feel as though you are dealing with a "Salesman" but with a real person. We also received financing for the vehicle through Dean Team and again worked with Eric Luckett. Eric got us a great rate and got the paperwork done in record time. We are VERY happy with the service we received and would whole-heartedly recommend going to Dean Team Ballwin to get a new car (ask for Scott!) More
We recently bought a 2010 TDI JettaWagon. I did a lot of research regarding the vehicle and financing before I contacted any dealership so, I had a pretty good idea of what to expect. Scott Roberts was the salesperson we worked with and it was the best experience we've had with a car sales person. We came to a great deal over the phone, he returned all of my calls, and answered all of my questions. When we showed up to the dealership to finalize the agreement, there were no last minute changes. He was very personable, honest and did not pressure us in any way. We ended up going with financing through the Dean Team because of the fabulous rate they were able to provide us. We worked with the Finance Director, Eric Luckett, and were very happy with the experience. He explained all the options and nuances of our financing and warrenty choices. He answered all of our questions and let us make our decisions without any pressure. We spent an enjoyable evening with two terrific people and bought a car with no hassle. I'm still amazed about the experience! More

Folks if your power steering pump is whining and under powered, its not the gear box assembly, its the pump. I drove away with a hefty repair that did not solve what I went in for. One positive note: A smiling person brought me my car freshly washed. More
I was looking for a car for over a month when I stumbled upon Dean Team Budget Lot in Ballwin. As soon as I got out of my car, someone asked me if I needed any help and paged a salesman for me. I was nerv upon Dean Team Budget Lot in Ballwin. As soon as I got out of my car, someone asked me if I needed any help and paged a salesman for me. I was nervous because of all the horrible salesman I had to deal with previously on the month long car search so I dreaded meeting this salesman. THANK GOD for Gil Daniels. He was friendly and down to earth. He listened to what I was looking for and vowed to sell me a good dependable car. (After test driving MANY non-dependable cars elsewhere, that really meant a lot.) He showed me a few cars, but they weren't what I had in mind. Gil said to give him a week or so and he would find me a car that I loved in my price range. I left feeling very impressed and hopeful. In less than a week he called me back, and on my next visit I signed papers for a vehicle! This was the best experience that I had at a dealership the entire month and would/will recommend. While awaiting diagnostics on my car I walked into the show room where I was never asked if I needed help. I even got into one of the cars where 3 sales staff were leaning against the back. I got out and walked around back were they acted bothered that they had to move in order for me to see the back of the car. In three seperate visits I was never even acknowledged. Good luck selling cars with that attitude. The crazy thing is I had 12,000 to put down on a new car. I fixed my old one for 1500 and will look elsewhere. More

These guys represent the stereotypical amoral, unethical car dealer. They promise you everything and seem very reasonable until it's time to deliver when they refuse to honor their word. They try to bully and trick you into paying for things you didn't ask for and don't need. For instance as I was signing the papers there was a mysterious $1200 extra charge in the total and I asked what it was for. They then explained that it was the extended warranty that I had signed off on. It turns out that amongst the many papers I needed to sign, one of them was for a warranty. When the paper was presented to me they said that is was just a general form saying nothing about there being cost associated with it. Needless to say I asked for the paper and voided my signature and didn't pay the extra fees. These people are scum. More
