We just bought a New Jetta and we love it. We were really treated very nicely by the sales people and everybody. They made sure that we are happy and we get what we wanted. The asked me if I wanted to buy the same car I just put on the form I was trading in. It was a simple mix-up and the gentleman who called said he would correct the information and have someone call me back about the new car I wanted. A short time later I received a call from Adam. The conversation started off fine. Adam asked what type of VW I was interested in. I told him I was very interested Passat Tdi. Adam said he just happened to have 2 vehicles that would be available from the factory within about 40 days and if I wanted to put a deposit down on the car he would mark it sold. He said it was silver with black interior. I said I really wasn't interested in a silver car with black interior. Adam then proceeded to tell me that he had 10 people interested in this car and if I didn't want it, I could have to wait as much as 8 months to get a car. Did I want to wait 8 months? I told him I could not make this decision with out consulting my partner and a possible test drive. Adam said that there are none available. I was in the process of explaining that we could test drive any Passat, that the engine didn't really matter for the test drive when I realized he had hung up. At first I thought the call was dropped. So I waited for him to call back. Some time passed so I redialed the number he called me on. It went to voice mail. I called again a couple of hours later and someone picked up and then disconnected the phone. He still has not returned a call so I am sure being hung up on the first time was deliberate. I do not need to be treated rudely, or pressured into buying a car I do not want.I have purchased 2 vehicles at Dean in the past. I will not purchase another. More

Had a problem with tires on a Jetta TDI. Called Service and was able to make an appointment at a convenient time. Jeff Price was the Service Advisor. He called me when the problem was known - within 3 ho and was able to make an appointment at a convenient time. Jeff Price was the Service Advisor. He called me when the problem was known - within 3 hours of when I dropped the car off, which I thought was great. The problem was that 40K mile Continental tires were put on at the factory, and with 35K miles on them, they were wearing out. Jeff said he could put on another set of Continental tires, or he could put on a set of Yokohama tires. I prefer Michelin tires and usually purchase them through Costco, so I asked Jeff to hold off for a little while so I could investigate. Costco did not have the tire size in stock, and it was going to take 3-5 days. So I called Jeff back and he said that they could have them in the next day, plus he could offer additional savings on a set, so I gave the OK to replace the tires. Jeff called me when the work was done. When I picked up the car, the ride was totally different. It's like a whole different car - it rides much better and tire/road noise is almost non-existent. When I got home I researched the tires Jeff recommended, and found that they were equal to the Michelin tires I was considering - possibly even better. In my opinion Volkswagen should be using the Yokohama tires instead of the Continental tires. I think Jeff did an outstanding job of recommending these tires, and we are very happy with them so far. The only issue is that Jeff advised me the tire warranty is 60K miles, but for the speed rating of our vehicle (W), warranty is only 45K. That is equal to the Michelin tires, so no big deal - just an FYI for future reference. Am extremely pleased with the quality of service at Dean Team in Ballwin - you certainly exceeded my expectations. More
