I was online viewing the 2011 Subaru Legacy. Sent an email regarding the vehicle since it showed it was on the "truck". Was informed the vehicle was on the lot and would have it ready to test drive. Pe email regarding the vehicle since it showed it was on the "truck". Was informed the vehicle was on the lot and would have it ready to test drive. Person on phone referred me to Brandon. We drove from Collinsville IL to Ballwin. Upon arrival met Brandon at the door, and told him we were there for the white Legacy test drive. He informed us that the car was not there. Now, they have my cell phone, which I had on me, never once did anyone called to tell us there was a mistake that the vehicle was not on the lot. I feel it was a bait and switch tactic. Funny thing, usually salesmen call you after you been to their lot. We were there Saturday and here it is Monday and not a peep from anyone. Our appointment was for 1130 to 130pm. We got there at 120pm. From the time they open till 1130 they could have called me. Very disappointed and will not deal with them. More
We received a letter from Phil Dean telling us we are allowed so much on our 2007 hyundai Elantra..My wife and I made an appointment to see Scott Roberts to talk it over, but we really did not think we w allowed so much on our 2007 hyundai Elantra..My wife and I made an appointment to see Scott Roberts to talk it over, but we really did not think we were going to leave with a new car..Just want to get a feel of what is out there.. We went looking for used Subarus recently, and were working with a few dealerships. This dealership had a 2009 used vehicle that we were interested in, test drove, and then were told that they couldn' working with a few dealerships. This dealership had a 2009 used vehicle that we were interested in, test drove, and then were told that they couldn't get us the deal that we needed to make it happen, but then proceeded to try to sell us a brand new Volkswagon. We were only interested in Subarus, and used ones at that, and they couldn't negotiate for that but could give us a brand new VW? Then they had a 2008 used Subaru that we went to look at. They were more willing to work with us on price with this particular car. We ended up coming to an agreement after several days. We were told that in order to ensure that the car wouldn't be sold over the weekend, that we needed to give them a debit card for them to charge a $250 deposit on, that would be immediately refunded to us on Monday when we came back to sign the paperwork. They took the money and refunded it a week later after going back and forth a few times. Also, they sent us away with an empty gas tank. We thought this might have been a mistake but then were told that they don't fill up gas tanks for used car sales because it would cost them too much money. Our experience overall with the salesman was fine, he did what he could, but the overall experience wasn't great. We purchased a car from this dealership in 2008 and did not have a bad experience. But we definitely won't buy another car from them, and will not be taking the 2 Subarus that we own now to them for service either. More
I rarely purchase new cars and working with Justin was a very positive experience. I was comparing different cars and trying to make a decision over a 6 month period. I looked at the Toyota Rav 4, Honda CRV, Subaru Forester and landed on the Volkswagen Tiguan. The Tiguan caught my eye and is beautifully designed with a European flair, well made and solid as a tank. It just really fit my life style. Justin was great at working out the pricing and locating the exact car, model and color I wanted. I expected the experience to be as painful as going to the dentists but working with Justin and his team was very easy. He especially helped me out post sale. He's there and available which makes it easier for me. He keeps the whole experience easy and enjoyable! More
