This is my first experience with the Dean Team and with buying a Volkswagon. Neil Smith made it very easy to find the car that fit our budget and our personal desires. I think the Dean Team does a wonderful job dealing with customers over the internet. In the end, Rick handled my sale and went out of his way to complete the deal in a very seamless and transparent manner. There was no pressure like you see at many other dealerships. Overall, the best car buying experience I have had in a very long time. At delivery Rick took the time to explain all the features and did not appear rushed to get me out the door. after discovering that i wanted a faily rare and hard-to-find car, i called dean team to see about a test drive. when they told me they didn't have the exact car i wanted (sportswagen TDI), they of hard-to-find car, i called dean team to see about a test drive. when they told me they didn't have the exact car i wanted (sportswagen TDI), they offered to let me drive the jetta TDI and the non-diesel sportswagen so i would have a good idea. they then managed to get their hands on thhe TDI and when i showed up for my appointment, the car was tagged with my name and waiting for me. the salesperson (carl schaeffer) went with me on my test drive, explaining the various bells and whistles, and even went with me to the toyota dealership to compare the TDI to the prius (my other top choice). when i didn't buy the car that day, carl kept in touch with me, worked with me on numbers that worked for me, and then secured the exact car i wanted in another state and made the trade. when i returned to buy the car, he worked to get the trade in value i needed and the price of the car to my happy place, and then sent me home in a loaner until my car arrives. it was quick, easy, and painless. i highly recommend dean team subaru volkswagen! I have bought alot of cars over the years and I normally buy Honda products. This is my first Subaru and I have never experienced this smooth of a trade in and new car sale before. There was no bull or insulting low offers on my trade they were within 2k of what I wanted first offer. I showed up 20 minutes after closing time on a Friday night, due to traffic (traveling from hour and half away)and the two sales guys said that they still wanted to help me. Most dealers just say they are closed and come back on Monday! I could not believe how friendly they were. I know they would have prefered to have left on time but instead they took thier time and showed me the vehicle, helped me determine what packages to get, gave me a test drive, and worked with me on the price patiently. I was done in less than two hours start to finish. What more could you ask for! I know where I will be shopping for my next vehicle when my Honda Pilot wears out. Going to pick my new Outback up tomorrow night. O and they even gave me a nice dealer car while they prepped my new one. I have never had that offered to me before.
