I have purchased 3 other Volkswagens from Dean team in Kirkwood. Although I was happy with my end result i was more impressed when I visited Dean Team in Ballwin When I came in with y boyfriend this past Kirkwood. I found him to be so friendly and he really worked with our needs. The inventory was also impressive. When I contacted the Dean TEam on line Wes was the most aggressive salesman so he got my business. We also liked Karl. This was a purchase for my son's first car. He drove my GTI manual for 2 years and became a VW fan and a fan of manuals. We hoped to find something under $5000 but there wasn't a lot available in that range but with financing we were able to get something at about $8000. It was a freezing cold, icy, February day, and I was over 9 months pregnant. My husband had just totaled his VW Jetta (which he bought from the Dean Team years ago), and all we had left was my teeny tiny Min 9 months pregnant. My husband had just totaled his VW Jetta (which he bought from the Dean Team years ago), and all we had left was my teeny tiny Mini Cooper (which the clutch had just fallen out of). Also, we had recently cut our income in half, as we had determined I wouldn't be returning to work. So, all of a sudden being faced with needing a new car ASAP, with not a lot of budget to allocate to it, but wanting something safe that would last, I was stressed. I had cried about 5 times already that day at other dealerships, because I felt pressured by our timeline, finances and the whole situation. When we got to the Dean Team, Wes was great, he kept everything light and was the most non-pressuring salesman I've yet to encounter. We put up a low offer on a 2013 Subaru Legacy, and Wes got us the deal. No negotiations, no hassles, just offer accepted. He even had some minor cosmetic fixes thrown in (paint chips & a small dent). We worked with Rick on the finance part, and he was able to get us the same monthly payment, but got the bumper to bumper warranty extended to 6 years/80,000 miles. It was also the very end of the day when we decided to purchase the car. Wes and Rick ended up staying 2 hours after closing time to get us all settled up. That was really appreciated. I brought to car back a few days later and they did the cosmetic fixes as well as a full detail (inside & out). That car looked amazing when I got it back. Such a great experience. They made the process painless, making the absolute best out of an unplanned situation for us. We'd happily buy our next car from Wes and the Dean Team! More

After his first conversation with Tony Wright over the phone, my husband looked at me and said, "I trust this guy. I am going to buy a car from him." Despite other dealerships obtaining the specific make/model of Subaru earlier than Dean Team, we would not purchase from anyone other than Tony. When I finally met with Tony, I understood why my husband would only purchase a car from him. Tony exceeded my every expectation in being trustworthy, clear, and friendly. He didn't just want to sell us a car, he wanted to sell us a car that would best fit our needs. Dean Team's best decision was first, selling Subaru vehicles, and second, hiring Tony Wright. Usually when buying a new car, the sales team will work "with" you. John made me feel that he was working "for" me. My interests were always his priority. I was blown away by John's ability to make selecting the right model so simple and logical. There was absolutely no pressure to buy anything I couldn't afford or didn't need. I bought all of the car I wanted and still walked away within my budget. I absolutely love my new Forester, and I credit much of my excitement to Dean Team for making the experience so incredibly comfortable. More

John Ostlund contacted me following an e-mail request. We made an appointment and I arrived expecting to learn more about the Subaru - but maybe not be able to purchase one. John was great! Took a test drive in a car that was a step up from the "base" which I had hoped to purchase, but after driving it it was clear that this was the level I wanted. I gave him my information, regarding what I "expected" to accomplish - which was to stay close to the amount I owed on my current vehicle. He worked through the "numbers" with me - and reached a number I could live with. The finance person was a pleasure to work with. John showed me some of the features for the new car and showed me how to connect my phone. Great people! Would recommend them to anyone. More
