I like the convenience of online appointment scheduling and use phone appointment scheduling as a backup. Eric Harrelson has served me the last two times I had work done. At all times he is professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He gives me candid advice about what is needed to maintain the vehicle and not just what he could sell me. I appreciate that. Over the years, I have been to other dealers and the service manager seemed to think his job was to convince me I needed all kinds of work done. I don't do business at those places anymore. I had a terrible experience with Keith Strickland. I would not recommend him as a sales rep. Keith dragged me along for over a week and a half when I was in a rush to purchase a vehicle. No follow up, n would not recommend him as a sales rep. Keith dragged me along for over a week and a half when I was in a rush to purchase a vehicle. No follow up, no communication, no customer service. After waiting around for twelve days I decided to go to a local dealership and lease a brand new 2013 model during the sign and drive event. I took the liberty to email Keith to let him know that I ended up leasing because I was in a rush. I thanked him for his time. Keith responded "Thank you?.. You think I do this for fun". I thought his behavior was not only unprofessional, but completely rude and unacceptable. I contacted the sales manager whom advised me that he would talk to Keith and apologized for his behavior. I needed a vehicle that was not only economical, but also durable both inside and out. I demand a lot of my vehicles and practical use of space is paramount. Choosing Subaru was easy, but dealing with the Dean Team was even easier. Right away we knew this wasn’t going to be ‘stereotypical car dealership’ type of place. Pete was very personable, respectful, and knowledgeable about the car we test drove. More importantly he wasn’t pushy or awkward like some other dealerships we had visited. He understood that in today’s market people do research and he was very accommodating to our suggestions. He made sure we were comfortable with the deal throughout all stages of the purchase. After purchasing the vehicle, we felt assured that we had gotten a good deal and were well taken care of. Pete has followed up on the sale and made sure we didn’t have any questions or concerns with the new car. Volkswagen - A lifetime of memories. My parents immigrated to the United States over fifty years ago. My father, at one point in his career, supported the German Scientist contingent in engineering immigrated to the United States over fifty years ago. My father, at one point in his career, supported the German Scientist contingent in engineering the rocket that helped our American Astronauts reach the moon. Eventually, our family settled in Seattle, WA. German was the primary language spoken in our household while I was young. Our family car - the VW bug. I remember riding up to Paradise, WA on Mount Rainier to go skiing. Snowy, freezing cold conditions. Cars stalled out all over. Our bug, with my twin brother's and me in the backseat, skis mounted on the roof, and snow chains on the tires just chugged right on up the mountain. No problem. A couple years later, our family moved to Africa. Talk about a climate change. Our family car - the VW Microbus. First car I was allowed to try driving. Remember almost putting into a rat-infested ditch (large stearing wheel!). Used on multiple family safaris (pet Baboon, amazing wildlife). Great vehicle during the rainy season (lots of mud!). A couple years later, our family pulled roots again and moved to the Middle East. Our family car - the VW Brasilia (now, I have read, one of the rarest VWs in the USA). First car I drove with a legal Saudi Arabian driver's license. Lots of wide, open highway in the desert. Weekends were spent driving to a huge inlet off the Red Sea called 'The Creek' that provided my brothers and me with great underwater and sailing adventures. Fast forward to college, career, marriage, first house, and then, our family car - the VW Bug. This bug was a 1974 model and had seen better years. However, on a limited budget, it got me safely to work and back home again through daily rush hour traffic. It's a jungle out there! Over my career years, my family hasn't had many new vehicles. However, the kids are in college and it's mid-life crisis time. You tend to reach for the best. My choice ended up being the 'R'. Great for tackling downhill slalom hills in neutral gear (extreme full-scale go-karting!). Curb-hugging performance. State-of-the-Art technology. Subtle luxury. Top-class German Engineering all the way. I am constantly thinking about my next ride in this vehicle. And it's been over 2 months since I purchased it. The newness just doesn't rub off. The Dean Team. Wow! What a great organization. My Sales Consultant was John Ostlund. Very patient. Very knowledgable. VERY professional. Spent alot of time helping me understand the technology inside the cockpit. I wanted to get this purchase right and he was there to assist me where needed. Price was fair. Vehicle delivery exceptional (thoroughly wiped down, glowing in the showroom at pickup time). Icing on the cake was the Sales Manager, Scott Roberts. He followed up the transaction to ensure that all questions and concerns had been addressed. Very passionate about the Volkswagon brand. 100% customer service. The Dean Team found the vehicle that I wanted at the lowest price within a two state vacinity. I made the mistake to first go to another car dealership. That dealership made me wait over 3 hours and they kept changing the deal over that 3 hour period. I then walked out and never purchased a car from them. The next morning, I called the internet manager at the DEAN TEAM and within two hours, Dave found the vehicle that I wanted with my accessories list and my first color choice. The price was the lowest within a two state area! After only two hours, Dave had the car I wanted and I signed for the car loan. This was the BEST car buying experinece I have ever had!
