LIED TO As an out of state buyer, I asked the salesperson if I could hire a mobile mechanic to check out a car before I bought it. She said it was fine. I had As an out of state buyer, I asked the salesperson if I could hire a mobile mechanic to check out a car before I bought it. She said it was fine. I had the mechanic call her and set up a time to come. She then called me, and emailed me twice, with confirmation of that appointment. When the mechanic showed up per her agreement, he was told that the car had been sold the night before!!!! So either she lied to me that she had reserved the car for inspection, or else they knew it was a piece of junk and it wouldn't pass the inspection. Either way, it shows how dishonest they are. Dean Honda is a glittering example of why car dealers have such bad reputations.
