I have received excellent service and care from Deacon Jones Ford, and would highly recommend them. I purchased a used Volkswagen from them about a month ago, at a reasonable price. I worked with their salesperson Shane, who was very personable and friendly. Unfortunately, a few days after I took the car home, I had some mechanical issues, and had to take the car into a mechanic. Initially, I was upset thinking I would be out possibly thousands of dollars to fix a car I had just purchased (I bought it "As Is", with no warranty). However, I have been pleasantly surprised by the care I've received from Deacon Jones! Immediately after learning about my issues, the General Manager, Robby jumped on the phone and insisted he would make things right. Although the car was bought "As Is" (and they legally don't owe me anything), they have been extremely helpful in resolving my issues. They even spoke with my mechanic about the car's issues, and have been working very quickly to get me back on the road. I feel that Deacon Jones genuinely cares about serving the community and ensuring that each customer is happy with their purchase. Honestly, I can't say I've ever received this level of care or service from any other dealership. I would highly recommend purchasing a car from Deacon Jones Ford! More
Thief’s. Plain and simple. Only one guy was actually apologetic to the bs we encountered. Came for a transmission flush and refill and an eleven pin connector needing to be re-pinned. First guy was the service advisor who was very rude and short to begin with. Said he had it covered only to not communicate one single time for weeks. Also said he was going to call us to let us know how much it would be to re-pin the connector. Never got a call. So we called to see what’s going on with the car and a man tells me the car is ready, we go to get the car and the battery is not even put in. The connector was never touched. And if the car could not be started there was no way to do a transmission flush and refill on the vehicle. They charged us for the flush and refill even though they did not do the procedure. The service manger was rude from the start, the man above the service advisors was flat out rude and disrespectful when told he was wrong. He told us to our face that he did not flush the transmission and only put 6 quarts of transmission fluid in the transmission. Even thought we would NOT have agreed had somebody called us to let us know what was going on. Refunded all but the 6 quarts for the transmission but the work should have never been done with out our approval, especially since what we came in for was not done at all. We just got around to getting the car running again and they flat out lied, there was only TWO quarts of fluid in the transmission even though they charged me 6 quarts after lying from the beginning about the procedure they did not do. Would not recommend doing business here if you are African American, they respected me (Caucasian) but not my African American boyfriend. More
Shane was my salesman. He did a fantastic job! He was not pushy and did not try to talk us into anything. We’re VERY happy with the purchase and would definitely work with Shane again for our next vehicle purchase. The finance lady was very pushy. We did not appreciate being talked to as though we were foolish for not buying thousands of dollars worth of extended coverages (which we ultimately did not buy). We had been at the dealership since 9:15 am that morning and had not had lunch and I mentioned that a few times. In my opinion the finance paperwork signing took much longer than it should have. The added sales dialogue was not needed. Overall it was a great experience. Other personnel at the dealership we encountered were friendly and polite. More
On Tuesday the 6TH of Oct, i brought my 2021 Ranger in for the first oil change. After the service was complete I was told that the service cost was $54.88, while I was going to tell the counter person for the first oil change. After the service was complete I was told that the service cost was $54.88, while I was going to tell the counter person that I had a maintenance plan (5003-970140 with cost $1195.00) he started talking to another person and was NOT listening to me. When he finally got back to me, he smiled and said that will be 54.88. I didnt confront the person in front of others, so I paid and left. Buy reporting this in this survey MAYBE someone will listen now. If I still have to pay for future service, which I have ALREADY paid for. I will seek a refund on my service plan. More
