We attempted to buy a CX5 from this dealership, but after misleading information and being told it would be the end January or the first of February before they could get the car we wanted we cancelled our o misleading information and being told it would be the end January or the first of February before they could get the car we wanted we cancelled our order and went to Jenkins Mazda in Ocala. We were treated with respect and had excellent customer service at Jenkins. The sales manager at Davis Mazda (TJ Russo) likes to play games and we feel he was deceptive with us. When we went in to buy the car we wanted he tells us that the car, which was supposed to be coming in on a truck, was as already sold! And supposedly the next truck with two more cars like the one we wanted, were already sold to people over the phone! The manager made it sound like it was going to be a big ordeal for him to get the car with the trim we wanted and made an elaborate show of “calling in favors” to find us the car. We decided to wait (which we were told would be two weeks) for the next one and completed the financing in anticipation of getting the car we wanted. When we called several days later to check we were given an even later date for the arrival of the car. At that point we were done with this dealership and READY to get our new car. We called Jenkins, talked with a salesman who told us they had the car and reserved it for us- we went down that day and came home with our car. We would NEVER deal with Davis Mazda again and will advise all our friends and family to avoid them as well! More
