I am so disgusted with your service department. For six to eight years I've been bringing at minimum 5 vehicles to receive services. None of my vehicles have ever received any service outside of Ga For six to eight years I've been bringing at minimum 5 vehicles to receive services. None of my vehicles have ever received any service outside of Gainesville Chevroletsl's service department ever and to be handled with such distrust is heart breaking. A "oil cap"? 6 to 8 years of both minor and major repairs on 5 DIFFERENT vehicles and a "oil cap" is what had push me to the point of never wanting to receive any service or do business with Davis Chevrolet. Called to make an appointment for a safety recall fix. Service person said appointment was to see a service person and not the time the vehicle would be taken into the shop. He stayed that it may take an hour to get into the shop. Brought vehicle to shop an hour before morning appointment. Shop was already busy. Got to talk to service fairly quickly. Once again I was told it may take two hours for a software upgrade as the vehicle may not get into the shop prior to the appointment. We waited at the shop and thankfully it was done within an hour. I did not appreciate being told that an appointment really meant nothing in regards as to when my vehicle would actually get into the shop. Do I really need to schedule a time to talk with a service person?? No, I need to schedule a time to get my vehicle fixed. Service person at shop was nice and I was thankful that they got it done in an hour. More
