Davis Acura rescued us from a very bad situation we were having with Precision Acura of Princeton. They were very friendly and professional. They are the type of dealer I would expect a company like Honda/A having with Precision Acura of Princeton. They were very friendly and professional. They are the type of dealer I would expect a company like Honda/Acura would want representing them. Thank you all at Davis Acura. More
Joe was very helpful and friendly, not too pushy like most sales people. He got me a great deal and "help me to master all the stuff in my car." I even went back next day and he took time to help me ag most sales people. He got me a great deal and "help me to master all the stuff in my car." Just don't trust them. I am a professional minority woman who went in to trade in and buy. I had a scheduled appt w/ one guy and this guy named Dwight offered to assist me. I told him that I wanted to trade who went in to trade in and buy. I had a scheduled appt w/ one guy and this guy named Dwight offered to assist me. I told him that I wanted to trade my car in and buy an MDX. He proceeded to get the keys, I asjed him for a CARFAX and he replied,"Later, there's a process." I'm thinking ok if there's a noted problem on the CARAFAX, I've just waisted my time. Also I thought that while we were out he would have someone appraise my car. Neither happened. No CARFAX, no appraisal. Instead, when we got back to the office, he asked for my social. I asked him why, he said real quick, "payoff financing" I said "what" he said it again. The third time I told him that I didn't need financing. He said, "Well in order to get the internet price you have to finance with us." I then told him that I thought that the ad was misleading and that I had called to inquire about that and no one knew initially if that was the case. I then told him that I did not like the fact that he tried to run my credit. He then said that he was attempting to save me some time by running my credit. I told him that I didn't like the way basically tried to pull a fast one by saying that he needed my social for for financing. I said shouldn't you ask someone first before you make assumptions about them and their financing needs. Needless, I left and then he calls back saying that he had good news he could give me 500 towards the internet price. I had also went there in January looking with my niece. Each time I went they could not find the car, one time they said it was sold the other time they called a guy from the new car lot who said that he didn't know why they called for him to help me he doesn't know anything about used cars and when we rode down to the other lot to find the car, the office was locked and he left me there and said come back later when the used car guy arrives. I met the used car guy on two occasions neither time did know anything about the used cars on the internet he said that the price couldn't be right because if it was really that low, he would have bought it himself. I give them low ratings because I have been there at least 3 times this year to buy and the experience has been terrible. Terrible attention to customers and their needs. Customers are more informed and they don't want that old school used car salesman routine. It's old and tired and sure won't get you a sale. Change up the approach and treat the customer with respect. Give them what they want within reason. AND Don't judge a book by their cover. I am AF AM female w/ two Masters degrees, a veteran, supervisor and only 34. I was more than ready and qualified to buy. But I will NEVER go back and will pass the word on to my friends. You just lost one. More
Bought a TL SH-AWD last weekend. This is my second car from Davis and Matt Gillespie has been my main contact. Considered other cars but came back to Acura as it offered the best value for what I was loo from Davis and Matt Gillespie has been my main contact. Considered other cars but came back to Acura as it offered the best value for what I was looking for. The technology package is well ahead of the competition and the options are priced very in a buyer-appropriate manner unlike the "nickel and dime" approach used by German cars. For knowledgeable car buyers, Matt's a pleasure to work with. Extremely knowledgeable about the car and also the competition and never pushy. Also does a tremendous job getting the car's technology boiled down to make you comfortable enough to drive away without looking back. And going by past experience the service department is equally good and will advise you against spending money when you don't need to (extremely rare among car dealers). Prospective buyers should do their homework on prices, comparison shop at other dealers and brands, and make sure you know what you want to pay. Davis will meet the best price you find. More
After going to Sussman and having a horrible experience, this was a great change of pace. Not only did I get a great price on a car, but the people were courteous, friendly, helpful, etc. etc. Top notch o this was a great change of pace. I went to Davis Acura for an oil change on my car that I purchased from them in 2003. I decided to look at new cars while I was waiting. I left with a 2009 Acura TSX. The entire experience, from the time purchased from them in 2003. I decided to look at new cars while I was waiting. I left with a 2009 Acura TSX. The entire experience, from the time I left my car for service until I drove off the lot in my new car, was excellent. I never felt any pressure to buy a new car. When I'm ready for my third Acura, Davis will be my dealership of choice ! More

I am a woman, and a woman in her late 20s at that. As soon as I walked into the dealership for my scheduled appointment, the receptionist yelled across the room that I was an internet customer. At this soon as I walked into the dealership for my scheduled appointment, the receptionist yelled across the room that I was an internet customer. At this point, the salesmen starting arguing over who had to show me the car. Apparently they were upset that their potential commission had been reduced. After pulling up the car, the salesman that had been stuck with me clearly did not want to let me drive the vehicle as he said "well, I pulled it up for you, I don't know what else you would like to do." I requested to drive the vehicle of course, as I had driven 2 hours to look at the car, and after driving it for about 4-5 minutes he said we should go back to the dealership. After this point, I had decided I would never give him my commission, but he proceeded to further sully his image by asking if the car would of course be paid for by my husband, and of course be in his name. When I told him, no I was indeed paying for the vehicle and it would be in my name, he asked if I could call my husband to "get permission" to buy the car that evening. He has since called twice to see what my husband thought. Lots of assumptions made about female buyers at this dealership, beware. Too bad, because I really liked the car, and I--not my husband, am ready to write a check. The internet outreach team is very friendly and helpful. I worked with Tyler, who is great and much nicer than anyone I have contacted in the auto industry. Wish I could buy from him. More
