Jack also arranged some subsequent tire change that was agreed and has been responsive whenever I have felt the need for some work to be done on the car. There has been some "monkey" in the keyless access/memory system which I hope to resolve courtesy Jack next week. More

Tim Titus called me and explained about the nuances of financing a car and what I should be loooking for in the way of milage and year, he then set me up with an appointment with Ken. Ken and I looked at and then drove several cars until I found the right one, a 2005 Acura TSX. The finance office was closed by this time and Ken let me take the car home and drive it at my leisure, making my decision even easier. One day later we purchased the car. More
My wife and I were looking for a 2007-08 certified pre-owned Acura TL. We settled on this specific model after driving many of the competitive vehicles in this class. We searched online for a few weeks to find the best selection and the best prices. Davis Acura was one of the first dealerships we visited. They had many vehicles that met our criteria at competitive prices (read the entire listing from the Davis website if you find a vehicle here on a search engine such as cars.com or autotrader.com - many say "may require $2000 trade-in equity and dealer financing"). Davis also has one of the biggest total selections of TL's within a few hours drive from us. We had two particular vehicles we were most interested in seeing when we arrived. Neither vehicle was ideal due to interior color (we didn't realize this while online shopping). We found two other vehicles in stock there that had the color options that we wanted (all other options are standard on the TL except the navigation system). We test drive a total of 4 vehicles while we were at Davis Acura. Mario went with us on the test drives and was friendly and honest. He didn't have any authority to discuss pricing, so George came over and was willing to negotiate with us on the price of the vehicle, and on the trade-in value of our old car. We settled on a price that was very competitive and received a very good amount for our trade-in (near the top-end of what I expected to get selling the old car myself). The website listed the vehicle we bought for $24888 and said that may require $2000 trade-in equity and dealer financing, putting the asking price closer to $26888 with financing. We were able to get the vehicle without any financing at a significantly lower price (more than $3500 off) exclusive of our trade-in, thanks to George's willingness to work with us. It wasn't an easy process, as negotiating with a used-car salesman never it, but it was successful on our part. John Roche also provided us with a competitive price on an extended warranty plan. The shop team that cleaned up the vehicle did a very good job on short notice (purchase was made Saturday night, and we picked up the car at lunch on Monday). I would recommend this dealer to anyone who is looking for a pre-owned Acura in the greater Philadelphia area. They have a great selection, good prices, and they're willing to work with you to make a deal. More
This dealer is very respectful in every way i took my children with me when i purchased this vehicle. I felt like we where having fun when we bought our new Acura RDX. I think Davis Acura has a lot more selection for certified pre-owned cars than other Acura dealerships. I had a narrow preference. I visited Davis Acura on Friday evening around 6:30 PM (12/18/09). At our arrival on the lot we were browsing the TSX's when we were greeted by George Abel. I told Mr. Abel that I had talked to Cheryl M (12/18/09). At our arrival on the lot we were browsing the TSX's when we were greeted by George Abel. I told Mr. Abel that I had talked to Cheryl Myers over the phone and internet and that I wanted to be sure that see got credit for our visit (Cheryl was friendly and helpful). We told Mr. Abel that we were repeat Davis Acura customers as we had leased two TL's from Davis previously. He asked us who are previous salesperson was and my wife remembered his name as Joe. Mr. Abel asked Joe Torpey and my wife said that's him. Joe was on duty so we proceed to deal with him. Joe took us on a test drive of a TSX - V6 and also a TL with Tech Package. When we sat to discuss lease pricing, the figures that Joe presented to us did not match a leasing program (a commercially sold software)I had on my I-Pod. I know the program on my I-pod works correctly because I used it on lease specials listed on-line and in newspapers. It always matched the featured offers. Joe produces a "computer generated" report from Acura that was to substantiate his lease price. I took his numbers from the sheet and used them in my program and I came up with the same figures the program on my I-Pod produced previously. I told Joe something was not right since his lease quote was about $50 dollars higher per month and we were leaving. Joe stated that he wanted to tell the manager we were leaving. The manager (George Abel) came over with an attitude right from the start. Stating that his price is accurate and stating that he I was using an I-Pod (insinuating that it is not accurate). I felt that there was some hidden fees or some other charges in his quote. My feeling was that if they were that sure that their quote is accurate then they should have taken the time to review the program on my I-Pod and show me where there was a "mistake". Since they never brought this up I feel they were hiding fees or other charges in the quote. I left the dealership. After leaving I think that they were trying to have me pay for the remaining two payments left on my lease as they were buying my current TL at the lease payoff price. I called Acura Finance and they stated that the payoff price was just that "a payoff" and no further payments were due Needless to say I will not be returning to Davis to lease the replacement Acura for my current TL-S. I recently was down to Davis Acura to look at some of the 05-06 Acura RL's. As soon as I arrived at the dealership a salesman came out to see what I needed. I told him that I was really concerned that I wouldn't be able to find anything in my price range. As soon as we found an RL that I thought might work we went for a test drive. I was pleased that we went for the test drive before anything else as I was coming from a completely different type of car. After the test drive we did some negotiating we came down to a pretty good price, but I wanted to think about it. They let me leave without giving me a huge hassle which is a problem when dealing with many other dealerships. I did some thinking and decided to return later. I called Mario and told him that I was ready to do the deal, but didn't have a lot of time. When I got down to the dealership they had me in and out in an hour just like I requested. Overall I had a very good experience, Mario and Cheryl were very polite and helpful. I love my 06 RL, I wish I could have done a bit better price wise but their prices are on par with other dealerships. More

He had a test drive route planned out which avoided traffic delays and helped us get a feel for the vehicle. We bought a 2010 RDX that next Friday. He had the car perfectly cleaned for us and everything ready to go. He then gave us another VERY comprehensive overview of our cars features until we were comfortable with everything. Matthew called our insurance company for us and gave them the details of our vehicle. He also was nice enough to give us a courtesy call a couple days later to ask how we were enjoying the vehicle and if we had any other questions about the vehicle. He also expressed to please call him if we had any questions in the future to not hesitate and call him directly. Great salemanship. More
