My experience with Villa Ford starts in 1997 when I purchased my very first new vehicle, a Ford Ranger. 6 years later I loyally back to purchase a brand new F150 and again in 2016 a $60k Ford F150. The first two experiences (97' and 2003) were great. In 2016 the senior salesman tried to pull SEVERAL low integrity sales tactics on me from hiding last minute fees, to wanting his 20-something year old son drive my brand new, special order truck from Northern California down to the dealership instead of transporting it. (they eventually did a trade for a Explorer, which I split the transport cost on $600). I'm a very educated, saavy buyer and the salesman was making minimum commission so I was treated like a 3rd class citizen. I had a cashiers check from my bank which included all of the fees, which I double and triple checked with the salesman before printing the check, and of course when I tried to take the truck home the check was short by $38.55. That salesman demanded I pay the difference. I had to open my wallet and pull out two $20 bills and have them make change on a $60,000 truck purchase. Now, it's 2023 and I stopped by Villa Ford and told them exactly what I was looking for, a 2021 F150 with all the features. I'm aware they have software which accesseses a database and can find vehicles across the country with every single feature you're looking for, extremely more detailed then auto-trader's search function. Villa Ford told me, "no...we don't do that anymore on used vehicles...there's just not enough profit in the sale to justify the work". wow! Meanwhile, I found a dealer in Utah who was doing exactly that and more so I bought a $60k truck from them and flew to Utah instead of dealing with Villa Ford, which is <3miles from my home. And that's just sales...don't get me started on SERVICE! Terrible. I've taken all of my Fords to McCoy Mills Ford instead. I would stay far away from Villa Ford. More
