When I bought my truck i spoke with a salesman and was comparing with my local dealership. He made excuses why the local guys were cheaper. I got another salesman who was great. I don't think I got a great deal. It took hours to get the paperwork done. I didn't get a second key or the owners manual and it took 2 1/2 weeks to get that. They didn't return my calls for days sometimes. My overall experience was that I didn't get the truck I wanted and still paid too much and they say they pride themselves on returning phone calls but they don't. More

"It sucks to be you" attitude I purchased a used vehicle. The options posted online were not entirely accurate. The sales-person I worked with was rushing, juggling other customers I purchased a used vehicle. The options posted online were not entirely accurate. The sales-person I worked with was rushing, juggling other customers. After the purchase I learned not all published options were actually installed on the vehicle (computer software). When I contacted my original sales person to let him know, at first he said, "We at Dave Smith want you to be satisfied. Let me check with my manager." I heard nothing back. When I reached out again I was told, "Well.... you test drove it so there's nothing we can do about it." I pursued my complaint up the food chain two more levels and got the same response - basically, "It sucks to be you." I tried diligently to approach from the top down but was refused contact with the CEO or a VP. I provided what I though a reasonable compromise was in the context of a letter that showed what a customer-focused response should have looked like. I was finally offer a fraction of a refund... I'm sure just to shut-me-up. More

Very great all all the people very helpful. All my upgrades were done by the time I got all the paperwork done. So many to choose from. Did not rush me through show and tell on the new truck. Horrible service Our commercial truck was in the service department for one month! No one knew what the other person was doing. Horrible communications. We ended up picking up our truck without the problem fixed because no one seemed to be able to diagnose it. Cleaned EGR tube myself and some other filters and now truck is running just fine. Very disappointed in the knowledge of technicians and service advisors. I had to get angry to get anyone to do anything. Only positive is that we weren't charged for anything due to the inconvenience of everything involved. But we still lost income while this truck was sitting there for a month. Also, there is a part on back order with ETA of 8/13, which I had to follow up on. 8/13 has come and gone and no one has communicated anything to me. More

The next day I went to the dealership and he had the truck sitting by his office for me to test drive, A talk with the accessories guy and I returned 2 days later to pickup the truck. Even the F and I guy was quick and nice.. The price was well below what I got on the Dodge web site. More

We were very pleased by the knowledge and assistance that our sales representative (Hunter) had about our needs and the positive and negatives of certain choices. Dave Smith has a huge operation but we always felt there was personal attention to our needs. If we buy any vehicle in the future that is sold by them we will surely go back again. More
