I am a very satisfied Dave Smith Motor's customer. My Sales Consultant, Wyatt, was just that, a consultant. After listening to me on what I was looking for, he helped me define what I needed. He then proceeded to find the RAV 4 Limited that I LOVE!! He completed all of the necessary paperwork for purchase; which for me was very important as my husband and I drove 5 hours to purchase. He and his team made it very easy to get the auto of my dreams. This was by far the best experience buying we have ever had. Evan helped us online. He was so friendly and responsive. He found us the exact vehicle we were looking for to tow our fifth wheel. The market for vehicles is crazy right now and Evan gave us an amazing deal we couldn’t pass up. They also gave us what we wanted for our trade. We drove the 14 hours from CA and we are so glad we did! Evan was out of the office so Chase helped us when we arrived. He emailed us ahead of time to make sure we had his contact information. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. Chase took us around the dealership and introduced us to everyone. We felt like each person we met truly cared about making sure our experience was positive. Chase took us to the service department so we could learn about the proper care of a diesel. The advice was genuine and practical. Carlos took care of us in finance. He was amazing! We have purchased many vehicles and anyone who has purchased a vehicle knows that finance is when you get the high pressure to add on additional things that line their pockets. Carlos didn’t do any of that. He was not high pressure at all. He let us know what his experience has been with the warranties and extra protections and then just let us decide. He answered all our questions and even got us a better rate and payment than we originally thought! We love our new truck and it was all smiles leaving the dealership. We will definitely be back the next time we need a truck. It was 100% worth the 28 hours of driving. More

Horrible service department parts three months later are not here and no one even calls to let you know what's going on. Bought many vehicles from here but never again! A lot of people drive from out of town or out of state to buy from them let me fill u in on all the vehicles posted on there web site are fresh trade ins that are not inspected they don’t look at them at all buy from them let me fill u in on all the vehicles posted on there web site are fresh trade ins that are not inspected they don’t look at them at all . We bought a 2018 Honda Odyssey van from them in the 3 months we owned it we put over 3 thousand dollars into the van which includes new front struts 1,000 dollars from Honda dealer ship bc the van is to new to buy after marker parts while I had it at the Honda dealership they told me there was 4 recalls on the van that was not fixed .so we got them fixed then we had to do the spark plugs , sold us a van with minimum tread on the tires 500 dollars then we take it to the auto body shop to have what appeared to be a crack in the bumper that was there when we purchased the vehicle and the whole bottom bumper was cracked all the way through new bumper installed painted 1,000 dollars . Air filter had leaves in it and was over due for a change .pulled cabin air filter leaves and really dirty replaced that .it only gets better we fix all that now the van is good to go the wife wants a traverse they had there at dave smith she really wanted it so we called them and told them we was driving over and asked to have the car ready they said ya no problem we will have it ready good to go . After getting slapped in the face with the van I’m being more cautious and really looking under a 2018 Chevy traverse with 40 thousand miles on it the first thing I do was get down and look under the front of the car and I noticed to tranny pan had excessive fluid all over it so I wiped with my hand and looked at the car sales men his name was Owen he was quick to say this car has not been inspected yet I looked at him and said what u have it for sale on the website for 30 thousand and it’s not inspected especially after I told u I was coming to get that specific vehicle. He said all the cars on the website are not inspected and there still selling them to people that don’t know any better . Long story short they slapped me in the face with them van almost slapped me in the face the 2nd time if I wouldn’t of crawled under there and seen for my own eyes can’t take anyone’s word saying it’s been inspected. I’m telling u my honest experience at dave smith in Kellogg Idaho and all they could do was try to make me buy a vehicle that was over 10 thousand dollars more then what I wanted . Good business goes a long ways but bad business goes even farther I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy FYI. Today’s date is JULY 27 2021. More
Our experience with this dealership was excellent. The sales team did everything they could to make us comfortable during our buying experience. Tom Pipkin, Sales Manager, CJ Cooper, Sales Consultant and sales team did everything they could to make us comfortable during our buying experience. Tom Pipkin, Sales Manager, CJ Cooper, Sales Consultant and Carlos Mariscal, Finance Manager were thorough and professional, yet made my family feel like we were the only costumers at the dealership. I will definitely come back for my next vehicle and would highly recommend this team for a brand new buyer to someone who has purchased many vehicles. My experience was exceptional.
