Can't recommend them enough! I just purchased a 2015 Kia Forte from Darling's and I could not be any happier about it. "Wait," I can hear you saying, "you're actually happy ab I just purchased a 2015 Kia Forte from Darling's and I could not be any happier about it. "Wait," I can hear you saying, "you're actually happy about getting into a 4 year old Kia?" I realize how weird that may sound, but given my situation, the fact that I was able to get into a newer vehicle at all is a testament to the magic these folks can create. I'll spare the gory details, but I recently found myself horribly underwater on a vehicle whose next stop should be to a crusher on its way to make a new Toyota (or, let's be honest, a Kia too...). Couple that with a credit situation that can best be described as "incipient dumpster fire", and I thought I was jolly well screwed. There was no way anyone would finance me into something reliable while I still had this other loan over my head, or so I thought. Enter Dustin, Amy, and the rest of the team at Darling's. From the first conversation we had on the phone, I knew Dustin was my man. He, from the get-go, seemed genuinely concerned and interested in helping me out of the mess I had made, even as I pinged crazy ideas off of him (like trading in a rolling piece of xxxxxxxxx that I still owed on big time for a truck...). After a few phone conversations and a lot of time online looking over my options, I told Dustin that I'd be in first thing that Saturday morning. 9 am came, and I was one of the first customers through the door...then I looked behind me and it looked like the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona. Despite the onslaught of people, Dustin never once made me feel rushed or pressured me into making a choice. While he juggled several of us at once, he still managed to take the time to talk me through my options, ask me questions about what I was looking for, and let me check out whatever I wanted. The whole time, he kept apologizing about it being so busy...sad to say, but I'm probably the most impatient person I know, and the fact that I never started losing patience once is a testament to his customer service skills. In fact, it wasn't just him - each and every employee I met that morning would stop whatever they were doing and check in on each of us that were waiting around to see if they could help or just to banter back and forth. I spent some of my wayward youth working in the hospitality industry (and per our conversation, so did Mark - we had a great time swapping restaurant stories!), and I can say without equivication that this was some of the best customer service I've ever seen. When I finally decided on the Kia, it came time to meet with the business manager Amy. How she could put up with the workload she had that day blows my mind - she was a one-woman financing machine! Despite the entire forest's worth of trees she had in paperwork to deal with and the untold hours ahead of her in catching up on all of that, she made it a point to make me feel comfortable about the whole process, taking the time to explain things to me so they made sense, and all in all making me feel better about what I was getting myself into. It turned out that the Kia I picked was a recent trade-in, and while it was ready to go mechanically, it hadn't been through their recon shop yet. When they realized it may take a little longer to detail it than they had planned, there was absolutely no hesitation about giving me a loaner so I could get home...and to top it all off, they offered to deliver the car to my workplace today (Monday) so I wouldn't have to take time off of work to swap vehicles...again, absolutely top-notch customer service! While they did not take the aforementioned rolling pile of xxxxxxxxx in trade (honestly, I can't blame them at all), they went above and beyond to get me into something newer and more reliable that I can afford while I sort that mess out. For that reason, coupled with the friendliness and the willingness to go the extra mile to make everything work, I cannot recommend them highly enough and they have earned a customer for life in me! I worked with Dustin I had just been turned down by Quirk Auto in Belfast, and was losing hope about getting into a newer vehicle for myself. I've had an excellent experience with them each and every time I've purchased from them, and this time was no exception.
