Incredible and serendipitous To be honest, we had been looking for a Subaru but $38,000 was more than what we really felt comfortable committing to. So we decided to go see Darlin To be honest, we had been looking for a Subaru but $38,000 was more than what we really felt comfortable committing to. So we decided to go see Darling's Nissan as we had purchased a new Altima Hybrid from Allen Worcester several years ago. When we entered the dealership we asked to speak to Allen and were informed that he had retired last year. Strictly by chance we ran into Joe Pelletier and lucked out again in terms of finding an outstanding sales person. He took the time to understand what I was looking for (a car about $16,000 less than the aforementioned automobile) with a 100,000 mile Volvo certified warranty. Prior to going to Darling's a Volvo wasn't even a consideration. I looked at leasing of new Rogue, great offer and terms but then I spotted a three year old Volvo, looked at the sticker and said Kathy will love this car. Over the years we have owned 3 of them.The first one we racked up way over 400,000 miles on, the second one saved her life as she was rear ended on the Maine turnpike by a loaded smi-trailer truck and the third one was to replace the totaled one. Joe was great to deal with. No pressure, took the time to explain everything,we felt instilled the honesty and the confidence that we wouldn't be sorry we bought it. He even took the time to walk me over to Tim the Volvo Service Mgr which absolutely cemented the deal. Now that Allen is gone we would absolutely recommend Joe and darlings to any/all of family and friends. More

Service People are so customer oriented I have only been to this dealer a few times I have had a recall on my Pilot. No matter what I am in there for, I am treated as though I come there all I have only been to this dealer a few times I have had a recall on my Pilot. No matter what I am in there for, I am treated as though I come there all the time. Steve York always greets me by my name and I really appreciate that. First time in my life I actually enjoyed buying a car! I really don't enjoy buying cars. All the games, the negotiating etc. all the back and forth just to get to the number you want. With Chris it was dif I really don't enjoy buying cars. All the games, the negotiating etc. all the back and forth just to get to the number you want. With Chris it was different. It started with a call, I had a few questions about the vehicle, Chris went out to the lot, found the car and answered all my questions about it. I then made an appointment to go see the car (I was late but Chris was waiting). Then I got to take the car out for a test drive. I arrived back at the lot and was able to look it over with Chris there to answer questions but without being "sold" on the car. I had a few more questions which Chris answered quickly and if he didn't know the answer he was HONEST and told me he didn't know but, would quickly ask someone and get the answer rather than the typical salesman trick of making up the answer that you want to hear! When it came to negotiating, we did have a few back and forths but nothing like the "normal" procedure where you spend an hour negotiating over the last $200. Lee in the credit office was great also, he did a wonderful job of making me feel comfortable and really explained the various types of warranty and protections available. He was very good at listening to my needs and concerns. I didn't feel pressured to purchase something I didn't need or want but he was also great about expaining the benifits of each product available. Overall I felt very comfortable shopping a purchasing the car from Chris. I will definitely look to Darling's (and Chris) first next time I'm on the market. More
