Friendly and fair, respectful. I feel that I was treated with respect at all times, I didn't feel as though I was being taken advantage of. The salesman we were dealing with was awesome. Travis Therrian. He was very easy to talk to, and showed us all the features of the vehicle. Friday 13th just got better Friday the 13th, full moon, time change, covid 19 and I decide to buy a new vehicle. I found the vehicle I REALLY, REALLY wanted on line. Off to Darli Friday the 13th, full moon, time change, covid 19 and I decide to buy a new vehicle. I found the vehicle I REALLY, REALLY wanted on line. Off to Darlings Ellsworth I went! I walked into the lobby and was greeted by this super friendly sales person. After my bathroom needs were met (in a SUPER clean bathroom!) I found my friendly greeter. Rebecca Wing was FANTASTIC! First off, considering all that was going on in the world, she maintained a constant friendly attitude. After sitting with her for about 2 minutes I felt like I had known her forever. After discussing what I was looking for, we went for a test drive. We had such a good time, Girls day out!! Rebecca was great at explaining all of the upgrades that would be coming with this vehicle. This would be my first vehicle with all of the hands-free techie cool stuff. She is gooood... I was upgrading from a 2011 Ford Edge to a 2019 Jeep Renegade. Of course I was one of those customers that knew this is what I wanted, didn't even know the price, didn't care, just wanted OUT of a car that I hated. Then the pain of financing... OMG the dreaded wait...will it happen? Can it happen? I'm going to be devastated if I can't drive this super cute Jeep home. Rebecca kept reassuring it would happen. While we waited for financing, Rebecca never scooted me off. She had done her part, we were just waiting for my credit, but she never made me feel like I was preventing her from making other sales. Rebecca was with me from the time I entered the building until I left. I finally got to sit with Matt for the dreaded financing. UGH! OMG!! Matt was hilarious! Here we are discussing the serious money side of things. But Matt made it less painful and we may have gotten side tracked with talking about family, 4 wheeling and other more important things. In the meantime the skies opened up and poor Rebecca is outside in the pouring rain getting my Jeep ready for me. With everything that was going on in the world and mother nature being a total B, plus Friday the 13th, I had such a fantastic day! Everyone at Darlings was super friendly and so much FUN!! We even had a little dance party before I drove off. They jumped through hoops for me, celebrated with me and I felt like they were just as excited for me as I was. Would I recommend Darlings of Ellsworth? Oh xxxx yes!! More

Stress-free experience My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Darling’s in Ellsworth while buying my 2019 Jeep Compass Sport. We originally stopped in to take a loo My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Darling’s in Ellsworth while buying my 2019 Jeep Compass Sport. We originally stopped in to take a look back in September of 2019 and chatted for a while with Gary Seavey. He understood my need for a “Fred Flintstone” car, not a “George Jetson” car! He also understood my insistence on a manual transmission, and did not judge me (as many others have). We left with the understanding I would reach out in February of 2020 to begin the process of purchasing the Compass. Unfortunately, Gary had an emergency and he was unable to help us through the process. He asked Mike Alteri to step in to help us out. Mike’s experience was evident in each step of the way. Like Gary, Mike understood my need for simplicity, my anxiousness at all the new technology, and my insistence on a manual transmission. Somehow he was able to locate a new 2019 Jeep Compass Sport, manual transmission, in the colour I wanted, and I had it within the week - no need to order one! Mike was very patient and very kind in explaining all of the technology in the car, and although I was feeling very sentimental when I traded my old car in, Mike was right – I have barely thought of that car since! We had a great time swapping stories of the “good old days” with Mike, how cars have changed, and so on. I cannot emphasize how happy I was to find someone who truly understood my reluctance at taking the leap toward technology in a car. The entire Darling’s team was wonderful to us, including Matt McFarland, who was able to swing a terrific interest rate on the loan for us. Everyone we spoke to was correct – the people at Darling’s are wonderful to work with! We will definitely recommend you to others! More
