Your sexual orientation had absolutely nothing to do with this situation. You have made your displeasure with our service painfully apparent, so we would prefer if you serviced your vehicle with another Hyundai service center. I’ve never had any prior contact with your service manager until this day. If he was unhappy with my service review why didn’t he reach out to me prior and find out what the issue was?This all came about the day I stopped in to show the service advisors what was happening with the car. I’ve had an issue with the turbo since the oil feed line was replaced by your dealership. It’s hard to duplicate the issue because the engine needs to be cold. I brought the car immediately over and spoke with Al. He was great and was able to get someone to look at the car. When I said to him I could have my boyfriend pick me up the service advisor called him out to the workshop. They evaluated the car and Al came out and explained the situation what was wrong. He said the service manager wanted to see me. When I went into his office he said he’d no longer be servicing my vehicle. When I asked why he said poor reviews. He wouldn’t elaborate any further and asked me to leave. I’ve never had any issues with The service department until this day which is what caught me totally off guard. If the review was such a big issue why did he not reach out to me to see what he could do to make it right? The most upsetting part is I spoke with your sales manager and he promised someone would call me back immediately I have yet to hear from anyone. I’m willing to resolve this if someone reached out to me.

Ms. DeCarvalho, The service advisor was in contact with your husband throughout the process and explained that warranty coverage was dependent on the decision of Hyundai because, as the manufacturer, they have sole responsibility for warranty coverage. The advisor tried multiple times to get a goodwill approval, but Hyundai declined each time. We would advise that you speak with the service center you use for maintenance and repairs to see if they provide any warranty coverage for their work.

I appreciate your response but that’s totally untrue. Brenda literally returned our phone call 1 time. The previous owner before us replaced the engine PRIOR to Hyundai recognizing the engine recall. The Hyundai was sold to us certified, guaranteeing an engine that wasn’t the original engine. No proof of it being a different engine was provided to me, for all I know your dealership is not telling the truth so you don’t have to honor the warranty and pay for the replacement. Your dealership is selling cars with “xyz” mileage and actually selling lemons that “have engines replaced at a junk yard” is what Brenda told me”. Shame on you, shame on your dealership.

We're very sorry that Moe did not take care of the spare key right away and the General Manager will be speaking with him this morning regarding his lack of communication and follow through. Unfortunately, when vehicles are traded in or acquired, they do not always come with all of the original equipment like manuals, extra keys, or floor mats. We tend not to replace these as it adds to the price of the vehicles. When customers request, we are happy to assist with the replacement or provide information on vendors. Regarding the tires, these are not covered under the 60-day limited pre-owned vehicle warranty and, generally, nine months after purchase, we would not provide replacement, however, we are happy to assist by providing them at cost. Please let us know if you would like to proceed with this.
