Dana Ford is advertising prices on their website, but when I called to inquire about a vehicle in transit I was told to “place an offer starting over $5k and somebody would get back to me.” While I under when I called to inquire about a vehicle in transit I was told to “place an offer starting over $5k and somebody would get back to me.” While I understand that the market is volatile, and isn’t in favor of the buyer, inciting a bidding war while POSTING PRICES on your website is super disgusting, especially as related to the AG’s Advertising Guidelines for Auto Dealers. There are plenty of other ways to engage in sketchy pricing practices without posting prices. The two men I spoke with promised to “get back in touch” but can’t seem to be bothered. It’s no wonder people dread purchasing a new vehicle. More
