Tried to tell me that my liftgate required body work due to a "car accident" that I was never involved in. Before I mentioned what I needed fixed, they immediately began giving excuses as to why I wont be r to a "car accident" that I was never involved in. Before I mentioned what I needed fixed, they immediately began giving excuses as to why I wont be receiving warranty without inspecting the issues. The only visible damage to the rear of my car is a cracked taillight from a golf ball, and a very small, golf ball sized dent in a panel from also, you guessed it, a golf ball. They refused me any warranty service or further inspection. The inspection they did, did not find or consider any other options other than the most expensive option. Immediately went to worst case scenario. Took my car home, got my liftgate open, and found the little piece of glass stuck in the latch that caused the issue and is now resolved and working fine. 30 minutes of work prevented this dealership from extorting me of thousands of dollars that wouldn't have fixed my issue.
