I put down a deposit on a new vehicle that was coming in. Salesman said it was refundable. A few days later I asked to cancel the order both by phone and in writing. It has been over 2 weeks and they have not refunded my deposit. I have left messages agin with salesman and the sales manager. No response!!!! They can charge your CC within minutes of ok the charge, thy are totally irresponsible when asking for the credit back. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. More
The worst customer service post-purchase I’ve ever experienced. It’s a bulk sales lot where all they care about is pushing cars out the door. As soon as you buy they don’t care about you. We had an issue with a truck the DAY we bought it. Scheduled an appt for them to look at and they diagnosed the problem and said they would repair it at no cost. Never got a call back from Dan and into they refused to repair the part. ($135 part no less). Dan refused to help, said they never promised to repair it. Bottom line, never trust this dealer and their salesman!!!! Never going back. More
I hope this review brings a potential car/truck buyer some insight of what we experienced. First off, I have never felt so belittled as a female buying a vehicle. From the moment I walked into the buildi some insight of what we experienced. First off, I have never felt so belittled as a female buying a vehicle. From the moment I walked into the building, I felt completely on edge and not taken seriously. We were buying a truck for my husband; he picks the one he loves, I sort out the financial part. The first day we were there we felt extremely pushed into buying a truck that we verbally said that we were not in love with. We ended up walking away very frustrated because after we had, "wasted their time," the salesmen were not interested in showing us anything more affordable and in the price range that we had asked. We left and naturally, my husband found another truck he loved that had just come into stock... on the same lot... SO we went back. I had to arrive around 8pm as I am a nurse and work 45 minutes away. OK great, we ended up buying the truck! We were very happy about the purchase but we felt like the BIGGEST inconvenience. Being told, "Well we're not going to make any money off the sale anyways.." and being shoo'd through the process. But this isn't the worst part. We bought a "certified pre-owned" truck in the summer. Exactly a month and a week later, the rain fell and there was a large leak in the truck. We called and were told to bring it in, "no problem." After a battle throughout the week we were held responsible for over $800 of repair. Normally, no biggie. We're buying a 5 year old truck so things are bound to happen. But we expressed our concerns that some of the cost should be covered as this was a pre-existing problem prior to buying the truck that was not disclosed to us. We called the sales guy, Brad, he returned my call and I expressed my concerns and he reassured that he would follow up with a manager. Promised he would give us a call back. Well, it's been over a month since that phone call and I have tried to reach out and still have no response. From the comments from the male staff to me the moment I arrived.. to the lack of customer service or some sort of compensation, we have sworn not to return to Damerow Ford again. We are also encouraging others to do the same. I have bought many cars/trucks.. NONE of which have I experienced such poor customer service. After weeks of being ignored, I hope the most this review can do is encourage others to save your time and go to a dealership that cares. More

I worked with Amy Wilkerson over in the Internet sales department. My mom and dad were in the market to buy a new explorer and she was always super accommodating and straight forward with us. She is very knowledgeable of the cars she sells and didn’t make us feel like we were at a dealership... which really means a lot. I had already been looking at other cars as the escape alsi was a thirsty beast. Matthew not only took the time to really explain to me what was going on with my escape but also took the time for me to get a hold of my Husband and explain to him as well. I loved that Matthew said no pressure but that he could get me a member of the sales team if I wanted to talk to them, and although I thought it was a lost cause from previous days of car shopping I figured I would see if they could do anything. I was a huge challenge for Jared and somehow after a week of being told no, even from seedie little car lots, I managed to get a car, a car that works for what I need. Jared really took the time to listen and find out what those needs where and didn't even try to sell me on something that wouldn't meet them. This dealership is so transparent on everything that they can and will do that its refreshing. My Cmsx is perfect and I could not have asked for an easier buying experience Side Note for dog lovers: I have a special 4 yr old border collie that had to spend the day with me on the lot and every staff member was the kindest and sweetest person to her. They made sure she had water constantly, that she got lots of love and some even offered her half their lunch. More
While my sales person was very accommodating, the management was unwilling to negotiate. He then continued to push us to try to look at other vehicles on their lot. When that failed he became even more aggressive and condescending. The Damerow management that we dealt with clearly has no empathy or respect for their customer's opinions or feelings. This sales manager clearly does not care about selling cars as much as he does about bullying his customers into submission. I was considering coming back at a later date to look at other cars but wasn't ready to do so that day and his aggressive nature turned me off. Therefore I would not recommend them as they seem to be out of touch with today's customer base. More
