Don't shop at Della Toyota in Plattsburgh! Why? We have been talking with them since yesterday morning. Donna told us she would cover our Ferry Fee, that was a negative upon arrival. We Why? We called before leaving St Albans to ensure the vehicle we had been talking about was still there and available. Donna had confirmed by phone that it was there and that it would be available to purchase as soon as we got there. That was also a negative after consulting with Alex. Then Alex tried talking us into getting a different vehicle that was 6 to 9 thousand dollars more and in a similar size we currently have. We emphasized that we were looking for a more fuel efficient vehicle. Thank you Della for wasting our time and money! More

Customer # 57353. Deal 61314. Salesperson Zack polite and not pushy. Test drove car and liked. Explained to Zack that there was a no starter on this deal. a The tires were beat and they needed to put tires on it. His reply was that it passed inspection but also said no problem. if thats what it takes for me to buy the car. Never once did I say I was willing to pay for them nor did Zack suggest I would have to pay for them. I didnt have my reading glasses which I need to read and made that verbally known to Zack and to Mitch which takes care of all the paperwork. I had to ask each time, "Where" do I sign? I signed the paperwork and went home. Next day I almost crashed 3 times with the less than adequate tires on the car. I would estimate 20% or less tread left. Went through Snow condition but at 15 mph or less. Like I said the tires are death trap tires. Proof is in real life experience. Called Zack that day and he says best all season radial is Goodyear Assurance Weatherready. I agreed as we have them on my wife's CRV. Came back I think 2 or three days later had tires installed. Drove Off 165 miles to home each way. Couple days later I was about to call my friend an Islamic Imam(religious leader) and convey to him under these economic conditions where used car prices are extremely inflated. I did as good as any other person. However when I put my glasses on at home I see in the paperwork the dealership charged me $750 for the tires. I obviously signed paperwork that I couldnt see and included that me paying for the tires was not explained to me. I see the experience as going through a fast food drive through and driving down the road and finding your missing part of the order. In my case I was charged for something I never agreed too. I don't believe it was a mistake. I asked numerous staff that work for me If they believed in the discussion I made with Della Staff, did I agree or imply that I would pay for the tires and 100% of them agreed no I did not. They had harsh words for Della Business Practice. Furthermore they never provided me a receipt for tires or the mileage they were installed. So technically I have no proof I own them or any warranty. I can only guess when they need to ne rotated every 5,000 miles. Matter of fact they want free advertizing of their dealership on my car with their Della Vanity frame on my license plates. which is not in the contract, so they will be removed here in the next couple days after I work a double shift. This ends my relationship with Della. First and last Purchase. My next stop in the next couple months will be to buy a new Sienna xle hybrid awd for wife will either be at Prestige Toyota in Kingston NY, New Country in Saratoga, or Empire in Oneonta. I previously dealt with Northway Toyota in Latham and will not deal with them again. I went to them recently and they have a bizarre policy of having established customers like me deal with the same salesman as used previously. If you don't and try to deal with a new salesman they will try to get rid of them. Another wierd business practice. I don't get mad I just move on. More
