The facility looks nice, but after waiting for some service to be completed after an hour or so wait, I’m disappointed that there was a clear lack of attention to detail. My tire air pressure had b service to be completed after an hour or so wait, I’m disappointed that there was a clear lack of attention to detail. My tire air pressure had been low for weeks so I inflated them myself (over-inflated) and brought my car in to get realigned due to the weeks of improper air pressure. I mentioned wanting that taken care of & also having the excess air removed from the tires. (There’s no way I’d forget that tidbit cause my target psi was 32 but one or 2 of my tires were at 38.) Leaving the tires overinflated is bad not only for safety reasons, but also can undo the work of the alignment altogether. While sitting in the reception area, I also saw they did state inspections. I needed to undergo registering my car with the state so I wanted an inspection for that as well. (I remember specifically mentioning my car needing to get registered to Judy, the receptionist.) She mentioned that she’d add that to the service notes. So then I waited. At the end of their work, I found out that they did do the alignment, but the inspection done was only a “complimentary inspection”, free of charge. I asked the check out receptionist what was up & she confirmed that that is not a state inspection. She says they do conduct them, but they didn’t on my car so I would have to make a different appointment. That whole bit is perturbing cause I made sure to be as clear as I could in providing my need for the inspection due to needing to register my car. But that detail was completely overlooked. Idk if she was distracted or not, but that was an unpleasant surprise to expect this relatively easy thing to get taken care of and it wasn’t. Lastly, the air pressure. On my invoice, I mentioned the alignment and the complimentary service check I didn’t ask for. Part of the complimentary service check is to check the tires. I DID ask Judy to have them remove the excess air out of the tires; this was also overlooked. But even more irksome is that the complimentary service check should have caught the air pressure discrepancy and they should have fixed it, even if I didn’t mention anything to them. I drove away (almost an hour commute, btw) having spent the $160 and knowing that each moment I drove with 2 tires at 38 psi & 2 of them at 35 & 36psi, that that alignment was getting messed up as I drove. The whole experience just felt unsatisfying. I’d like to think it’s a fluke, but between the receptionist’s lapse of attention to detail & the service workers neglecting to notice/rectify the air pressure (despite the complementary service check they said they did), it wasn’t just one simple mistake. After having left them a message via voicemail about the whole ordeal, I got a call from the same receptionist that got me signed up for the services. She started off saying there was a misunderstanding but it was because I never told her I wanted either the air pressure rectified nor asked for any inspection at all. (I told her I did and told her I mentioned having moved and needed to get my car ready for getting registered.) She seemed to remember this comment, and kinda went onto a tangent of whether I needed a state inspection or not. Which was kinda a weird deflection, but whatever. At least she remembered I DID say I wanted an inspection, instead of her saying I never asked for it altogether. That never really got addressed, nor did she acknowledge her placing blame on me or her having misunderstood, whatever. No apology, no accountability, no offering to console or rectify things in any way. I just ended up ending the conversation with a thanks & kept it moving. I won’t really be back anyways. After all, if I can’t be sure they’ll address the simpler things (and will find some way to make it my fault), then I definitely don’t want more complicated work done where I wouldn’t be aware they missed something important until my car had a subsequent issue from their lack of attention to detail.
