Dishonest and misleading internet tactics used here. Conducted a deal online and went in to purchase advertised price on internet, when I arrived, they added $4000 above MSRP and acted as if they knew n Conducted a deal online and went in to purchase advertised price on internet, when I arrived, they added $4000 above MSRP and acted as if they knew nothing of my deal with internet manager. They could care less, and figure that their dishonest scheme is to only get you down there then jack you on the price. Not only do they not deal, they even tell you that the factory rebate is all theirs and and not for you. Don’t waste your time here, there are plenty of alternatives, they are not the only Toyota dealer around, just the most dishonest. More
I am adding this review of Oscar Gutierrez, as it has been earned. VERY DISAPPOINTING!! After I posted a one-star review of general manager Mr. Hautman on 10/7/21, he and his staff have not responded to been earned. VERY DISAPPOINTING!! After I posted a one-star review of general manager Mr. Hautman on 10/7/21, he and his staff have not responded to MULTIPLE follow-up e-mails and telephone calls, notably his second-in-command Oscar Gutierrez whom I contacted when a colleague told me Mr. Hautman was on vacation.. I have written very specific messages (including an e-mail the SAME DAY MR. HAUTMAN WROTE THE RESPONSE TO MY ORIGINAL POST) and left detailed voicemails (PLURAL!!) to both of these individuals. It is as if they are doing everything to avoid reimbursing me for two unused years on the seven-year bumper-to-bumper warranty I purchased in 2015 from their dealership. DON'T EXPECT FOLLOW-UP SERVICE OR FUNDS DUE BACK TO YOU WHEN PURCHASING FROM DCH TOYOTA OXNARD!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!! P.S. I am still waiting for the GM Mr. Hautman to respond to 2 e-mails sent in the last couple of weeks and to reimburse me for 2 unused years of my 7-year warranty on a RAV4 sold to me here. I will now look into e-mails sent in the last couple of weeks and to reimburse me for 2 unused years of my 7-year warranty on a RAV4 sold to me here. I will now look into whether the Better Business Bureau or other entities can intercede for me. I expected so much better from this dealership. More
Al Gaines is the man to work with when buying a car. He provides excellent service and follow through. I purchased a 2016 Honda Odyssey and he drove 70 miles to deliver the vehicle personally after replac provides excellent service and follow through. The service advisor, Juan Arriaga, made all the difference. Am fortunate that every time I bring my car, he is there. I came for a wheel alignment, the technicians did a wonderful job bringing my difference. Am fortunate that every time I bring my car, he is there. Wow, honestly this is probably the worst customer service experience buying a car I've ever experienced. Other than the nice demeanor from our sales guy Bradley, this place could not care less about your b experience buying a car I've ever experienced. Other than the nice demeanor from our sales guy Bradley, this place could not care less about your business. The sales manager could not have cared less if we bought a car or not. Mostly, the only word he told us was NO. No second key, no fixing the peeling tint on the windows, no taking a minor ding out, no changing out the tires, no budging on the price, no home delivery. Usually a place will at least accommodate a request or two so that you have a positive experience and want to tell your friends and family and return for another vehicle purchase. We even sent a message to the GM and never heard a word back. This place does.not.care. Our car was priced well and we feel good about that, but we will NOT recommend them nor will we ever buy a vehicle here again. More
