I must first talk about how wonderful the overall service department is here at DCH Toyota in Oxnard. Jack and Grant are my go-to favorite service advisors. The best I have ever had at any Toyota dealership, department is here at DCH Toyota in Oxnard. Jack and Grant are my go-to favorite service advisors. The best I have ever had at any Toyota dealership, anywhere. They both go above and beyond for me and my brother as customers. Prices are fair and I always feel well taken care of by all the smiling faces, including the cashiers and the shuttle drivers too. When I am in the market for a new 4Runner (I hear there's a hybrid on the horizon) I will patronize DCH for that new car too. Keep doing what you do. Thank you Jack and Grant!!! Jeanie and Billy More

Easily the most dishonest car dealership I've encountered. Avoid at all costs. I went to DCH Toyota of Oxnard on April, 2023 to shop for a new Toyota to replace my old one. I looked at cars on the lot and found a Toyota Corolla that had a window sticker price of $23,005. I thought tha a new Toyota to replace my old one. I looked at cars on the lot and found a Toyota Corolla that had a window sticker price of $23,005. I thought that was a decent price and probably something I could afford. They offered me $1000 for my old car but I did not want trade in it because my mechanic wanted it. After being there all day, I was exhausted and finally agreed to buy the car because I just wanted to go home! They sat me down with the finance guy and he did the paperwork but when I looked at the price of car it went from $23,000, our agreed on price, to $32,500.00. When I asked how that could be, He told me, “Don’t worry about it, it’s just an “up-charge.” I did not understand anything he was telling me while he electronically inserted my initials and name onto the paperwork. I was tired, after being there all day plus I didn’t think a big company would take advantage of me as a senior citizen. When I got home, I looked at the contract again and discovered that he had added on another $4362.41 for an extended warranty, $1300 lifetime oil changes plus gap protection for $1050. Also, they put an 8.99% interest rate on loan. These add-ons were in addition to the $7500 "up charge" - whatever that is! BTW, I have excellent credit, my credit score is 790. By the time we were done adding on, this $23000 car was going to cost me $41,191.16! I went to the dealership the next day and told my salesmen that I did not want the car with all the extras but he told me they couldn’t do anything about that once the contract was signed. When I asked where my old car was, He told me I couldn’t get it back because it had already been sent to auction at which time he said, "I'll give you $1000 to forget about your trade." I didn’t know what else to do so I accepted it. Later, found out my trade was worth at least $1700. I am 73 years old and without a husband to help me. I cannot believe they would take advantage of me, as a Senior Citizen like they did. This has caused me a lot of pain and frustration. I was taken advantage of by all the people I came into contact with at DCH Toyota of Oxnard including the salesman, finance manager and sales manager. They knew I was in a bind and they all took pleasure in taking advantage of me as a single woman and senior citizen! When I went back to complain to the sales manager and try to get something worked out, I was told there's nothing that could be done. They they just didn't care. DCH Toyota of Oxnard was recently acquired by Lithia Motors located at 150 N Bartlett St Medford, OR. 97501. This is a giant car dealer corporation that has aggressively expanded its dealership network and now has over 290 storefronts, making it the biggest dealer group in the U.S.! BE FOREWARNED! They asked me if I wanted to reserve the car so they don’t sell it to someone else, I said ok. I sent them my DL and insurance. Texted me few minutes after; sorry we sold the car. Great customer service! Thanks for running my credit and lying to me. If this is the type of things they do, good luck if you still wanna purchase here. More
