Honda has been my brand of choice; my last four vehicles have been Honda. But recent events are forcing me to think this over again. This year I took my car due to the panic alarm going off. The technici have been Honda. But recent events are forcing me to think this over again. This year I took my car due to the panic alarm going off. The technician incorrectly diagnosed it as battery not charging and the dealership suggested changing the battery, I disagreed and since I had already payed for a non refundable diagnostic fee at that moment my options were to take the car as it was or use the diagnostic fee to pay for a new battery from them at much higher price than I usually buy it from. I brought the car home and as soon as I parked at home the panic alarm went off again. I had to take the car again and this time they found a faulty sensor in the hood which was what I had read on the web and the reason for disagreeing with the faulty battery. Last year,, I took the same car to that same dealer, When I arrived home I noticed the passenger mirror was cracked. We settled for an arrangement midway, I had to pay for a new mirror they did the work at no cost. This is not the outcome or service type that I expect from a Honda Dealer Maintenance Department. My only option at this point is from now on to use a different Honda dealer and write a negative review about his one. More
