If you weren't going to start on her car, have her come in later. This is the 2nd time it has happened. It is seriously ridiculous, get your times figured out … time is precious. More
Great Customer Service After having a horrible experience at Ford Simi Valley, I brought in my car to this dealer and I must say that it was the total opposite experience fr After having a horrible experience at Ford Simi Valley, I brought in my car to this dealer and I must say that it was the total opposite experience from the Simi Valley location. From the moment I brought in my car to the time I drove it out of the parking lot, the service department was excellent! My service advisor, JR, communicated with me throughout the entire time my car was there and was honest from the get go. I will definitely be coming back to this dealer for all my future services. Make sure that you watch your paperwork and don't give them any benefit of the doubt! TL;DR: I bought a car from them DCH Ford through USAA's service and was pre-approved but they intentionally failed to attempt to complete the loan so that they could sell it at 2% higher to a third party. The Finance Manager also attempted the same thing with the warranty for $2,500 but failed. Long Version: I was preapproved through USAA for a vehicle loan and used their car-buying service to handle the negotiations for me. I found the car I wanted to purchase and reached out to confirm availability and drove up 100+ miles to complete the transaction. I worked with Ulises as the sales rep who took me for a test drive and everything was looking great. Then I went into the finance office to work with **Eric Schutte**, who is a total scammer. He sold me a warranty and verbally told me that it's no-risk because I have *60 days* to cancel for a full refund. He also told me that he would handle all the loan paperwork from USAA to ensure that everything was processed. I signed a contingency that if USAA fails to fund the loan within 5 days, that DCH Ford retains the right to sell it to another vendor. Lo and behold, Eric could not be reached for the first few days and then pretended he could not obtain the forms, then said over the phone that he received them via fax when he didn't, then claimed that he failed to receive them via email. It turns out, the language doesn't state that they have to make an effort to complete the paperwork so the 5 days expired and they sold it to another vendor for 2% higher than I was approved. After my mechanic informed me that the car was in great shape, I informed and confirmed with ERIC SHUTTE that the warranty was canceled. Frustrated, I reached out to the GM Adam Chirchick to see if I can obtain assistance with clearing everything up but he failed to respond to my multiple connection attempts (two calls, one voicemail, and two emails). I threw my hands up and was ready to move on when I noticed that the warranty was never canceled. I looked through the paperwork and found that I actually only had 30 days to cancel the warranty. My cancellation confirmation was in the first week but more than 30 days had passed so I was stuck. I began the process of filing a small claim against the business and spoke with their legal counsel when then the GM finally started responding to my emails. He was at least able to cancel the warranty, but that still leaves me with a loan at 2% higher than was originally agreed. Now I have to decide if it's worth the effort to go through filing and court process work to reclaim $900 over 5 years. More

Me and my wife went out to eat at a nearby Mcdonlads, when I tried to operate one of the Key Fobs I noticed that it was broken and did not work. I returned to the Dealsership and spoke to Matt Kelleher, who told me he did not know the Key Fob was broken. He stated that he could not do anything since it was a used car. I left the Dealership and I later called Lexus and they stated it would be $400.00 for a new key Fob. I was not happy with the way i was treated by Matt Kelleher, I felt like he showed no interest in replacing the Key Fob. I know when a vehicle is purchaed by a Dealership it is inspected to make sure all equipment and vehicle is working properly. I later contacted the General Manager, A. Chirchick, and I explained to him what my concern was about the Key Fob, he did not try to resolve the issue and told me that he would give me one day to return the vehicle if i was not satisfied, I feel that I was let down by the managerial staff of DCH Ford because they showed no interest in resolving the Key Fob issue. After all i did not finance the vehicle it was a cash purchase. I am writing you this letter in hopes that the staff at DCH Ford in Thousand Oaks, can take a more serious approach in resolving broken equipment sold by the Dealsership and treat an asian customer who purchased a vehicle in cash with Dignity and Respect. I am not happy with a Dealership selling me a Vehicle with broken equiment. More

Awful experience I usually don't even take the time to write reviews, but this has to be said to potentially warn other people going to shop here. I bought a 2016 J I usually don't even take the time to write reviews, but this has to be said to potentially warn other people going to shop here. I bought a 2016 Jeep Wrangler JKU from this dealership. This vehicle was supposedly inspected "throughly" by "qualified" DCH service staff. So I trusted it, I went on a short test drive around bumpy and bad roads.....The jeep was so clean, and the dealership had very good reviews so I didn't think I had to worry, until the drive home....They even emphasize on their window stickers how well inspected their cars are by their staff..Well they must have "overlooked" and obvious axle issue. My Jeep's tire is literally wobbling side to side. It wasn't till I actually hit a patch of nice freeway on my way home from the dealership that I felt the very bad vibration coming from the back of my car. The Jeep also had a recent accident on his record, and had 2 very badly damaged rims. I chose to overlook it because I had faith in the dealership But get this, when I contacted the general manager, almost that same week of the purchase , he insinuated I caused the issue by hitting a pot hole...he insinuated I BENT an AXLE on a POT HOLE. ridiculous. BUT at least he said I am more than welcome to come in for a second opinion...to his dealership, more than 2 hours away...perfect *sarcasm* I already complained to the BBB on both their account and DCH's main headquarters account, and am even in talks with a consumer law attorney. This vehicle literally couldve caused an accident, but yet they will take NO responsibility for this issue. So in short....please shop somewhere else. there are MANY other ford dealerships that you can go to . More
Not respectful Summary: if you are in the market for a used car, go somewhere else. They won't respect your time or you as a customer. I contacted them yesterday, t Summary: if you are in the market for a used car, go somewhere else. They won't respect your time or you as a customer. I contacted them yesterday, they called me today to confirm my interest and we agreed on a time I would visit. They called me a second time to confirm that I was coming at the agreed time. I drove for 1.5 hours in traffic and was told on arriving that the car just got sold. Imagine... I can see how a dealership that respects business and potential customers could have done at least these two things: 1. pull the car until I arrived (we did confirm I was coming two times after all) particularly that it was all during the same day; or 2. call me to let me know another customer was coming to see it and give me the option to come earlier or to call me if the customer did not buy the car. When I arrived, one of the managers tried to get my attention to see another car, twice the mileage, etc. etc. treating me like a sucker and not an interested buyer. My advise, there are plenty of dealers around. Just don't go there. More

Fortunately, it was under a parts warranty from the last Once again I’ve had to bring in my 2014 Ford Focus for the chronic low-speed clutch shudder. Fortunately, it was under a parts warranty from the last clutch replacement and was covered 100%. JR does his job very well and has a pleasant personality. Although the service dept at DCH Ford of Thousand Oaks does an excellent job of servicing our vehicles (we have two 2014 Ford Focus cars that have the DTC drivetrain), it’s highly doubtful that our next cars will be Fords due to such a negative experience with having to replace the clutches every 8K-10K miles. Ford’s extended warranty on the transmission control module is a joke when the actual clutch materials get ruined and eventually I’ll be paying out of pocket every 8K-10K miles to keep my cars drivetrain operating smoothly.
