No loaner vehicle, a $30 voucher to rent only the cheapest (Ford Only) that Enterprise has. If they are all rented YOU PAY for the upgrade. They never wash off the car after it's been siting in their lot. My transmission still rattles but now I'm on a month long minimum waiting list to fix the same problem. My truck randomly billows out white smoke so thick that it stops the traffic behind me. It's a cracked or leaking turbo seal, everyone knows it including the service guy who confirmed it. He said "unless it does it here we won't fix it". If someone is injured as a result, I am going to help them sue the paints off this dealership. More
Car dealerships have a bad reputation. Even with such shockingly low standards, DCH Ford of Thousand Oaks manages to be the worst of the lot. On 7/12 (Sunday), DCH reaches out to me offering the car I want at MSRP (it’s in high demand). I live in Orange County. After agreeing to purchase the car at 4 pm (which is a 65th gift for my dad), I offer to put down the deposit but DCH says they do not accept deposits to hold cars. Odd but okay. I then offer to wire the entire purchase price and they still said no. I get it – companies have policies – even as strange as not willing to accept a nonrefundable deposit or the entire amount for a car. The next day (Monday) I work with the sales representative who informs me that they will, in fact, honor the price. Mind you – at this point, he could have said the offer is no longer on the table. But he did not. Between 10 and 4 pm, I am in constant contact with the representative and spent hours rearranging my work schedule, arranging child care, and submitting my information (driver's license, insurance, and credit application). I get on the 405 to drive 100+ miles and am on my way to TO when I get a cold call from the representative who then puts the manager – Raul Altorre – on the phone. Raul informs me that DCH will not honor the price but that I can still purchase the car if I pay $5,000 more. No apology. No explanation. No remorse. Just a good ol’ fashioned shakedown. He did say he is following orders which means the decision came from the upper management. My advice: do not buy from them. Period. Do not waste your time with a business that will dishonor its commitments to increase its bottom line. Buyer Beware. More
I had a tentative deal for a new Expedition Max at a competing dealership closer to home. I happened upon a better equipped vehicle at DCH Ford. After confirming that the SUV was still available for sale, I decided to make the 1.5 hr. drive to see it in person. I'll admit that after reading some online reviews for DCH Ford I was apprehensive. I didn't know quite what to expect. My sales team of Ismael and Marvin were great. The SUV was exactly what I wanted and after some negotiating, I felt the deal was fair and signed the paperwork. I really can't say anything bad about this dealer. I had a good experience and would be a repeat customer. Glad it all worked out for the best. More

Transmission blew on our Ford Explorer. Ford had it for about a month which was not an issue at all. But when I picked up the vehicle it looked like it had not been touched with any type of cleaning produc about a month which was not an issue at all. But when I picked up the vehicle it looked like it had not been touched with any type of cleaning product. Even a run through a quick car wash or ANYTHING. Not to mention we're going through a pandemic. Needless to say we won't be going back here. No check through by a service manager or anything? More
DCH Ford is the worst dealership ive ever experienced Where do I even start? Well, let's start with a consumer warning. DO NOT , I REPEAT, DO NOT GO TO DCH FORD for any type of service. I have been goin Where do I even start? Well, let's start with a consumer warning. DO NOT , I REPEAT, DO NOT GO TO DCH FORD for any type of service. I have been going to DCH Ford for 2 years over my Ford F250 which unfortunately is a lemon which Ford has already agreed to buy it back. The truck is unsafe to drive on the road, it gets what is known as the "death wobble" which basically causes the front end of this 8,000 lb truck to lose control of all steering while the entire thing violently shakes until you come to a complete stop. Anyways, as previously mentioned, this is not DCH's fault. As a company, I can only assume that management treats their employees like trash which would explain why DCH employees treat their customers even worse. My experience is specifically with JR Morales and his "superior" Daneel Wilson. These employees pretend that they are on your side but that is only because they want a 5-star review from the Ford survey which you get after a visit. Both of these employees went so far as to basically bribe me to give them a 5 star. See the problem is that I paid for a service contract which guarantees me a free rental car for an extended period of time. My truck was in the DCH service dep. for over a month and I was issued a rental car for the time being. Well, once I returned the car back to Enterprise, I was charged over $500 for the rental car. Keep in mind my truck has 20k miles and is under warranty. JR and Daneel both blame Enterprise rental car and Ford corporate saying they changed the terms of the contact but having spoken with corporate Ford several times, they have assured me that I am covered completely and I should have never been charged. They authorized DCH to repay me. DCH is flat out ignoring corporate Ford and myself. I cannot get my money back nor a response. Even my Ford contact cannot get DCH to respond. She said she has never seen a dealership act this way in all her years. So Daneel and JR both said that if I leave them a 5-star review with Ford, they would get me my money back. I did what they said and no, I never got my money back. Shame on me for allowing them to bribe me with my own money. When I am able to speak with JR he talks down to me in a condescending way. I cringe every time I have to go to the dealer. There is much much more to this story but at the end of the day, I dont blame anybody for the lemon truck but I will never own another Ford again simply for the fact that I would have to go to DCH Ford due to the fact that its my local dealership. If management is reading this, you should seriously consider giving your employees better customer service training, they are doing a very very poor job representing DCH as well as Ford. At this point, I am still waiting for my money back. I have even attached a copy of the email from corporate Ford showing I should get a refund check from DCH. JR, Daneel, DCH Ford. If you are reading this, contact me, you know exactly who I am. More
