Excellent Customer Service I found a car at this dealership through the Car Gurus website. I live 3.5-4 hours south of Silver Spring, MD so I was right at my limit as far as dis I found a car at this dealership through the Car Gurus website. I live 3.5-4 hours south of Silver Spring, MD so I was right at my limit as far as distance I’d be willing to travel for a vehicle. When I called, I spoke to Jonathan Njoku in the sales department. He was very prompt with answering my questions and talking to his manager about pricing for me. I know most dealerships don’t like to talk price over the phone but they were willing to do so for me (not sure if that’s normal for them or if they made an exception for me because of my distance.) They did refuse to accept a deposit for the vehicle which I find annoying, but I can understand why. However, to offset not being able to put a deposit down, Jonathan told me to call him when I was planning on coming up and he would hold the vehicle for me. I’m glad he did because he said someone came and asked to buy it while I was driving up to buy it. I called Jonathan when I was a few minutes away from their showroom (the trip actually took 5 hours) and by the time I arrived he had the car warmed up for me and running so I could test drive it. Everything was as I expected from the photos online and from talking to Jonathan over the phone. He expedited the buying process as much as he was able to in order to get me back on the road headed home. He had even filled the gas tank for me so it would be one less stop on my way. The next day he called to make sure I made it home ok and that I still liked the car. There isn’t much I would have changed about this buying process from Jonathan at Darcars. I would certainly consider buying from them again (only thing that would hold me back is the distance I live from them.) More

Amazing deal with amazing staff We were in the market for a Pacifica Hybrid and had visited another dealership, where we thought we would buy. We happened to be in Silver Spring, and We were in the market for a Pacifica Hybrid and had visited another dealership, where we thought we would buy. We happened to be in Silver Spring, and decided to visit Darcars to see whether we could get a better deal. We are so glad we did! We worked with Jeffrey Jimenez and his manager, Gil Lee, and drove out with the Pacifica Hybrid of our dreams the same day. Jeffrey and Gil listened attentively to our needs, and tailored their sales efforts accordingly. They did not waste our time trying to sell us something different, and promised us they would beat the other dealership's deal, which they did. This dealership has recently gone through a sales staff overhaul to improve customer service, and it was evident from the moment we walked in the door that they were customer service oriented. We were warmly greeted as we entered the dealership and were immediately referred to the sales person who could best help us. While it always takes a bit of time to negotiate and finalize the purchase of a car, Jeffrey, Gil, and Edward made the process as painless as possible --- even charging my phone for me when it was running low on battery. The waiting areas were clean and comfortable, and we were never left for more than a few minutes without Jeffrey or Gil stopping by with an update on our progress. More

So when it was time to get the new Pacifica, of course there was only one place to go: The Darcars Chrysler folks at Silver Spring. Had the pleasure of having Mark Russel as our sales consultant again, what a true professional he is. From understanding our exact needs to guiding us through the selection process, to helping us understand the vehicle and owner experience, it was done to perfection! I want to give a huge shout out to GM Christine Kim who was directly involved in the deal through all its phases! I can't thank you enough for all your efforts! 5-star!! A special thanks goes to the finance team starting with PJ Feiz, along with the support of Edward and Saji. Talk about a well-oiled machine! Would love to have any of those guys on my team any day! Last but not least, I want to recognize Mr Kamran Sheikh from the Darcars head office who originally recommended the Silver Spring Chrysler team a couple of years ago. And when he found out I'd be going back, he didn't hesitate in offering his time and expertise to insure I was completely satisfied in every phase of the process. Most incompetent "service" provider 1 star is too generous for this place. It should be negative stars. Our experience for the last two months to get repairs on a 7 month old Chrysler Pa 1 star is too generous for this place. It should be negative stars. Our experience for the last two months to get repairs on a 7 month old Chrysler Pacifica obviously still under manufacturer warranty: 1) Never responded to online request for appointment; 2) After calling multiple times because either no one picks up or it just rings and rings, we finally spoke to someone. The next available appointment for an oil change and to diagnose the two issues was in 3 weeks!!!! 3) At the appointment, the intake person literally had no knowledge about the car and made nonsensical "suggestions" about how the issue can be repaired (the touch screen which had a dead, blacked-out spot larger than a quarter will be repaired by a software update). 4) after car was left with them for a full day, we were told that they have to order parts and would only take 3-4 business days. 5) We waited for two weeks and no one called us to let us know whether parts arrived . When we called, they couldn't find the order, then said parts had been ordered and arrived and someone was going to call us the next day. 6) Of course, no one has actually called us. Multiple attempts to call THEM over the next 3 days have been thwarted by a) disconnected calls; b) actual refusal to look into the issue and a request to call back the next day; c) endless ringing that's never picked up. So, almost 3 weeks after the appointment, we still do not know whether the parts have been ordered or not. Seriously considering trading the car - what's the point of having a warranty if you can never actually get the car serviced when it's needed? Will NEVER buys a car or have a car serviced from any Darcars ever. There is no service and no accountability. There is plenty of incompetence however. More

Worst Volkswagen Service - Don't Use Service is very poor. Calls are not returned timely, diagnostics are misinformed and incomplete, worst dealer service I have ever had. Car was at dealership for a week to diagnose the remote did not work because car battery was dead and would not hold a charge. My daughters VW Passat was towed to dealer on Saturday for a 7am Monday morning appointment. The remote would not open door, and the manual key did not work on door locks. AAA was able to "jimmy" door and tow car on Saturday to dealership. I had to call at 5pm on Monday to find out status (they did not call as committed), and response is key doesn't work need to order on. Service department said they can't enter the car to diagnose the remote issue. Key would be delivered Thursday. I had to call service at 3pm on Thursday to find out status (they did not call as committed), and response was key did not arrive but they "got into car" to diagnose dead battery and needed replacement. I asked to replace, and response was technician has left for the day. I had to insist a battery be put into the car. Finally heard back at 5pm a battery was put into car and remote key worked. Service wanted car overnight to insure battery was not draining. I had to call at 11am on Friday (was told I would get a call) and no status. Called back at noon to find out key arrived, battery was fine, but thermostat indicator light was on and needed $840 repair. This after car is there for a week. Did not authorize, service department can not be trusted. Upon picking up the car, find out the driver door lock just spins 360 degrees when a key is put in. Now lock is broken, dealer said AAA did it. BS. New battery cost $500 with all the labor charges and now I have a broken lock which they claim AAA did. Do not use. More
