The car needed a recall to fix the rear brake light. Much to our delight, they came to our home, picked up the car, repaired it, cleaned it and returned it the same evening. BMW of Mt Kisco was my first stop. I was in the market for a new car. When I walked in and saw Elaine Gordon, I knew it was going to be my last stop. She had sold me my previous BMW and at the time was w for a new car. When I walked in and saw Elaine Gordon, I knew it was going to be my last stop. She had sold me my previous BMW and at the time was working else where. I would reccomend her highly to anyone. Not only is she an exceptional saleswomen she is warm, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about what she does. She can't do enough to make sure that when you leave, you just feel really good. She has followed up with various e-mails to check in and see that all is going well with the car, and encourages me to call if I have any questions. BMW is lucky to have her. Every time I have an issue service etc, I can get an appt and loner in a very reasonable amount of time. This last time they had no loner and as usual will accomodate with a rental, on Aug 22,2012 that morning i called to let them know i was on my way and was told that yes I had an appt but my rental was not available because of a time mix up, I spoke to the young man Seth who said he would handle it and call me back as he knew i was coming from brooklyn, handle it he did, within a half hour i got a call that it was all taken care. Seth was so concerned and attentative, to me he was total customer satisfaction. When I arrived one hour and a half hour later, he greeted me with a smile and called out to me by name, and had a loner waiting for me. This young man is truly an asset to your company, you see for me to bring my car up, it requires me taking a day or half day from work, so i have to make those arrangements ahead of time. Seth is a keeper, I can't forget the young ladies at the front desk, they to are friendly and proffessional, my only complaint is that I needed to have a brooken grill replace and I thought the price for one was a bit steep, but it is a BMW, none the less for all my needs I will be back, as long as you have Seth, He is very personable, or more like him. Especially remarkable was the service dept's sending a car (X5 actually) to collect us at the Mount Kisco Metro North train station, return us to dealer. Remarkably friendly, open atmosphere throughout. I looked briefly at the new X1 in the show room, would have asked about trading our 5 series on this new car had there been time. We actually live in Hanover, NH, but we visit our son (and it was he, our son, who recommended you folks to us) and his family in Bedford, NY, often and take Metro North to Manhattan 2-3 times a month, so that this dealer is very handy fo rus. More
I have a certified pre-owned 535 xi and have an extended warranty. Your policy of charging 130.00 to diagnose any problem not covered by the warranty is unfair and frankly a rip off. It's almost as if you warranty. Your policy of charging 130.00 to diagnose any problem not covered by the warranty is unfair and frankly a rip off. It's almost as if you are looking for a reason to charge that amount rather than the 50.00 charge that the warranty states we should be charged. Out TPM and check motor/emissions light were on as well as the car idling very high. I was told by John that the TPM malfunction was due to water damage in the trunk so I would have to pay 500.00 to repair it. After investigating online I found that many 535's have this issue and there must be some kind of defect in the car that allows water in - however I was still charged the 500.00 and they actually installed the new tpm in a higher location so this wouldn't happen again. Then the service team said the check engine light was not on. They drove it for awhile and it came on but they claim they could find nothing wrong - therefore a 130.00 charge plus 24.00 for the gas they used! After a lengthy discussion with John he removed this charge and my car still is idling very rough. When I came to pick up the car it hadn't been washed which is something that I love about BMW - I thought that was a practice at your dealership but maybe it's only at Ray Catena in White Plains which is where I plan to go from now on. The girls at the front desk are very nice and also the main reason I used you this time is that you provided a rental car which made my life much easier. More
