Dear valued customer, as in our conversation in regards to carwashes we will not wash customers vehicles in freezing temperatures, as the outside temperature reaches freezing the rotating cloths that make direct contact with your vehicles finish become frozen with ice, this ice will damage your vehicles painted finish, in addition when the rise water gets into certain areas items such as wipers will freeze to your windshield and doors will freeze shut. We appreciate your business and we welcome your to bring your vehicle by during service business hours for a complimentary car wash and vacuum, weather permitting. Although you are a valued customer BMW Mt. Kisco is limited by the terms of BMW’s Parts warranty. You are required to maintain your battery if you are not operating your vehicle at least 10 thousand miles per year or only driving short trips which do not allow that battery to charge from your vehicles charging system. This information is found in your owner’s manual which explains the possible need for trickle or periodic charging to maintain your battery, this lack of driving and charging is the very thing which is causing your battery to either need to be replaced or recharged every year as you have and this is unfortunately not a warranty matter. Again, we appreciate your business and hope that you understand, no matter which premium vehicle you decide to buy you will have the same issues with battery discharge based on your lack of driving and or charging.
