customer service was rated at a 4 star because the VW finance department was trying to feed me a line about "hard credit inquiries don't affect your credit score." i know better and i didn't appreciate b finance department was trying to feed me a line about "hard credit inquiries don't affect your credit score." i know better and i didn't appreciate being lied to. and the initial offer that came out of the finance department was laughable at best and an insult at worst. their offer was full sticker price, WAY below blue book value of my trade in, for a 48 month loan term trying to leave me with a monthly payment that i would expect if i were buying a brand new porche or BMW, not a VW. the only reason i was willing to work with Dpat VW for the GTI is due to the difficulty of finding a GTI with the manual 6 speed transmission. if it weren't for the finance department, it would've been a 5 star rating. Rachael O'Risky was the best vehicle sales rep i've ever dealt with. she was understanding of my situation, and she was willing to work with me without getting uncomfortably pushy. overall experience and price being rated at below 5 star again came from the VW finance personnel for their obvious lack of respect in their attitude and treatment of both myself and my wife when we came in to purchase the VW GTI. I brought in my wife's car for the 40K miles service first thing in the morning and was greeted by a very enthusiastic Phil. I was given a brand new Audi to cruise around with which was a pleasant surprise because I have never driven one. Sweet ride! Tara was thorough inspecting the car and communicating the loaner instructions with me plus she was very happy and friendly. My car took exactly the time Phil said it would to complete the service. Phil explained everything that was done to the car with great detail and the price was what we discussed when scheduling the appointment. The car was also cleaned inside and out very nicely. Phil and Tara both did an overall outstanding job, exceeding expectations. Phil has been my consultant since moving to the area two years ago and couldn't be more pleased working with him.
