I take my car to the dealership faithfully for oil change and inspection every 5k miles. The last couple times I noticed check off sheet was completed yet those items really hadn’t been done. Example: mileag and inspection every 5k miles. The last couple times I noticed check off sheet was completed yet those items really hadn’t been done. Example: mileage set back for service countdown, lights (tail light was out) and tire rotation. I contacted the service manager, the items were dealt with immediately and was advised there had been an issue with a particular employee and that that employee had since been terminated. The people at the dealership were apologetic and friendly. My confidence level has certainly decreased, feeling as though I’m paying for and have paid for services requested yet werent completed. Hopefully moving forward this is no longer an issue and there was only 1 bad apple in the bunch. More
Both the service manager and mechanic worked to find an alternator at the last minute. Got it installed and me on my way in promised time. alternator at the last minute. Got it installed and me on my way in promised time. More

I had my oil change and tires rotated on Saturday January 21, 2023. Also had a recall done. Monday afternoon on my way home from work my engine oil light came on saying my oil was low. I pulled over on the s 21, 2023. Also had a recall done. Monday afternoon on my way home from work my engine oil light came on saying my oil was low. I pulled over on the side of the road and tried calling Cumberland Kia 7 times without an answer. I finally called new sales and of course got an answer. I told him my dilemma and he said he would have someone call me back immediately. A guy called me back. He ask if I could bring the car in. I ask if he really wanted me to seeing the low oil level alarm sounded. He said no and gave me a tow truck number to call and have the car towed at the dealer expense. This would leave me with no vehicle and no way home. I called my husband who had to leave work and come check my car. It was indeed low of oil. We went to the parts store and bought a $14 quart of oil and added that which got it to the level of operational but was still low. I called and told the dealership I was driving it in that day. The service manager was very nice, Suzy. I was very angry and unhappy. I didn’t appreciate the attitude or tone the skinny lady at the desk had with me. She told me not to yell at her that she didn’t do it to my car. I told Suzy about her also. The man came told me the o ring was messed up on the oil filter causing a leak and my low oil. The guard kept the oil from leaking out on the ground and being noticed which did happen once before with my 2013 Kia Sportage which was serviced at Cumberland Kia. The drain plug was barely hanging on that one when my husband tightened it and added oil to that one about a year ago. Suzy said they would top my gas tank off which was nearly full and change the oil because we added a non synthetic oil and next oil change would be free. So I was out 2 trips to Cookeville, a $14 quart of oil, my husband missed work and my frustration for a flub up at the service dept at Cumberland Kia. In return I got treated very rudely by the skinny receptionist/key taker, a few dollars of gas and my next oil change free. Seriously??? Does that seem right? Would you be satisfied with this? Would you trust the service dept after having 2 separate oil problems with 2 different vehicles? More
