I just came in for 40,000 mileage service and a complaint about a twitchy start on Wednesday. Left with a new oil pan (mine was sludgey) and a new battery. Great service for longevity of vehicle optimal performance. And everyone who works here is professional and friendly. More

Problem Solved! I brought my S60 in for regular service, luckily, my service advisor, Martin M. queried me regarding any additional issues I might be experiencing, re I brought my S60 in for regular service, luckily, my service advisor, Martin M. queried me regarding any additional issues I might be experiencing, reminding me that my car actually shut off on me a couple of times during the start/stop process. When they realized that they'd have to keep my car overnight they quickly provided a loaner vehicle and I was on my way. They had to keep my car longer than usual but they got to the bottom of the problem (bad battery). The turn in and pick up process was simple and I was back in my vehicle in about fifteen minutes. So glad this important safety issue was addressed and I'm satisfied with my Culver City Volvo experience as usual. More

Excellent customer service This is the second time I bring my xc90 for service at this location, Martin in the service department has helped me both times, he is the absolute be This is the second time I bring my xc90 for service at this location, Martin in the service department has helped me both times, he is the absolute best when it comes to customer service - answers all of my questions and provides me with detailed information about my car. I have been in and out in less than 20 minutes both times, and this is with a loaner. I have taken my car for service to Volvo in Santa Monica and walked out after waiting over an hour to see the service advisor and not having a loaner, even though it was promised as I waited. I also recently took my car for service to Volvo in Pasadena and had to request a different advisor because the one who was assigned to me made it clear he was busy as I waited over 20 minutes (he yelled he was busy and I would have to wait as he was asked by a very nice woman to come help me), so I requested a different advisor, who was very nice but failed to return my call after leaving two messages. I would have walked out but this is the closest dealer to my house and my car had a light on and needed service ASAP. It is worth to drive the extra mile to Volvo in Culver City and get the service one deserves. More

Brake, Oil and regular maintenance on our XC60 I brought our 2015 XC60 due to squeaky breaks and a low engine oil light. Our service advisor, Damian Mucci, was able to get the brakes replaced, the I brought our 2015 XC60 due to squeaky breaks and a low engine oil light. Our service advisor, Damian Mucci, was able to get the brakes replaced, the 30,000 mile maintenance, and all recalls done within 1 day! He also provided me with a loaner car, which is a life saver! Culver City Volvo consistently has loaners/rentals when I take our Volvos in for service, and for a 2-car, 2-job, 2-kid family that is fantastic. More

Bad battery turned into engine problem I purchased my new 2016 XC60 from Volvo Culver City a couple years ago. A little over a year after, they replaced the engine (not really sure why). I purchased my new 2016 XC60 from Volvo Culver City a couple years ago. A little over a year after, they replaced the engine (not really sure why). Last week (a couple years from purchase), they battery died. I brought it to them for service and they told me it wasn’t just the battery, it was also the starter. They replaced the starter. The same day I picked up the car, the tire pressure and the check engine lights came off. I brought it back to them. They said there was a leak in engine fan. A day after I picked it up the second time, I had noticed the engine light came off and a couple minutes later I was having trouble driving the car. It was having difficulty changing gear and it sounded as if it was about to die. Now, I am very hesitant to bring my car back to them the third time. In the past, each time I brought my car for service (outside the regular maintenance), I had to bring it the second time and sometimes the third time. All of these repairs so far were covered by the manufacturer service warranty (except for wheel alignment), but is there an overservice here or they dont really know what they are doing? How did it go from a bad battery to bad engine? Are they going to replace the engine the second time? I am not a car savy, but something is not quite right here. More
