WHAT HAPPENED TO CULVER CITY VOLVO!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been going there for 10 years now (I love volvo cars). They used to offer great service. Polite and Cordial from the beginning to the end. Lately it has been getting worst and worst until this last experience which is the lowest a service company can get to. THE SERVICE TECH CLOSED THE DOOR IN MY FACE!!!! SHAME SHAME SHAME I called to schedule an appointment, asked for a loaner, they said they don't do loaners any more. I spoke with Nick the manager and he said he was going to look into it. I waited a week, didn't hear back from Nick so I called. He said that they had some internal discussion and they DO give loaners. So I made an appointment for today. I went in at 7:30 asked for a loaner car, I was informed that my CERTIFIED SERVICE DOG is not allowed in the loaner (extremely rude). I asked to speak with a manager. The service person went into the manager's office, when I tried to follow him in, he closed the door in my face and held the door closed so I couldn't go in. The Service manager, another rude person, said that the loaner is his car and he can refuse service to a someone with a Service dog if here wants to, WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM??? Since Ken left it has been down the hill. I don't think they can get any worst. I have used Galpin Volvo service once in the past and they were amazing. VOLVO OF CULVER CITY you just lost a customer of 10 years. More
overall bad experience, got the run around so much with different issues after buying my car, everyone was telling me different things and didn't get things resolved. Purchasing a used 2005 XC90 from this dealership was truly the worst experience I have ever had! It was a high pressure, take all day situation with dishonest, unprofessional display of car sales!! After only 4 months the engine to this car had to be replaced by another dealership,willing to make good on the Volvo name as Culver City wasn't even willing to attempt, under the high cost extended warranty that was pushed by the salesman in case we had an engine failure. Imagine THAT!!! Unfortunately due to my experience at this dealership I would not recommend them to anyone. They offer to buy you crappy Tito's Tacos if you are unsatisfied. Wort of all their Robo calls and SPAM emails NEVER stop, even after you have purchased a car! I am truly surprised that Volvo of North America continues to allow them to put the Culver City Volvo name next their high quality products...what a nightmare!! More
I wish I could put 0 star..this place is the worst...NEVER NEVER NEVER bring your car here for service...they well destroy it...I had warranty work done here are they left parts loose and oil ra worst...NEVER NEVER NEVER bring your car here for service...they well destroy it...I had warranty work done here are they left parts loose and oil ran out all over the engine, undercarriage, and the ground...when I called the service guy, some jerk by the name of Kenneth, I was told the something else was wrong with the car, which I knew was BS, the car was not leaking oil when it went into their shop, and it was pouring out when it left. l tried to call the general manager Rami, and left 2 messages, but he never called back. I finally had the car towed to Galpin Ford in Van Nuys, where they took excellent care of me and repaired all the damage that Culver City Volvo did, without charging me, also telling me that the car did not need the other work that CCV had told me was needed. They also told me that something from the prior work had not been tightened...which caused the problem. Repair work SUCKS here, and the customer service is even worse...no wonder their reviews and ratings are so bad. Take your car anyway before here. I have filed a complaint with Volvo and wish I could do more to warn people...Oh yes, that's right, I can look for every site I can find on the internet, where I can also leave this review. By the way I'm 63 years old, have owned a lot of new cars,and this was the worse experience I have ever had with a car dealer. More
My 2007 Volvo S80 had it's headlights go out just before I had to leave town on an early morning flight! The car has been great, but this just happened all the sudden and I was in a bind. Went to go see E I had to leave town on an early morning flight! The car has been great, but this just happened all the sudden and I was in a bind. Went to go see Ernie and he arranged a rental car for me right away as he said it would take some time to diagnose the problem. I had to be at LAX the next morning for a 6am flight and my return flight several days later was to come back in after 9pm...all this outside the dealer hours! Ernie came up with a great solution...I returned the rental car at LAX (at no charge)and jumped on my early flight! I luckily had the second key for my Volvo, and when I returned to LAX at 9pm on a Sunday night I hoped in a cab over to Culver City Volvo and my car was waiting in the service drive for me all fixed and ready to go! Many thanks to Ernie, Ram, Richard, and the great team at Culver City Volvo! More

I bought my 2012 S60T5 from Culver City. They had by far the best selection and gave me the best deal. I shopped over 3 other stores and they didn't the vehicle I wanted and their priced weren't even close. the best selection and gave me the best deal. I have told three different individuals at this dealership that I have already purchased a car (from another dealer) and to please stop calling. Despite being reassured by each individual that they will take me off the dealership's robo call list, the dealership is still calling me several times a day. I would steer clear of this dealership.
