Crystal Toyota responded

The technician contacted XM to have the new XM radio's module activated. The technician gave the XM radio representative the numerical and hexadecimal numbers off the old receiver. Due to privacy regulations third party technicians are not given any personal information about the owners account in regard to what other vehicles they may have, thus the technician could not possibly have instructed XM to migrate another vehicles subscription to the new unit. It was therefore XM radio's error in activating/deactivating the improper modules. We apologize for the inconvenience of having to have this situation rectified with XM.
