Service experience here is less than mediocre. I’ve been coming here for almost two years and I’ve never experienced good customer service. They never have any parts in stock and they aren’t up-fr I’ve been coming here for almost two years and I’ve never experienced good customer service. They never have any parts in stock and they aren’t up-front about it until you the okay for work to be done. I brought my car in to have a tire patched and they were unable to patch it resulting in needing a new tire. No issue since I bought the tires here last year and they were still under warranty. They informed me all tires needed to be replaced due to the damage to the one tire and I’m responsible for paying for the other three tires plus mounting and an alignment. The tires were bought last year and have a lot of life left on them. I spoke with someone on the phone and I was told I would have been better off to have a nail in every tire because then the warranty would have covered them all. Long story short, I ended up paying almost $900 for new tires that were under warranty and barley a year old. Their lack of inventory on standard tires also delayed my holiday traveling by two days. This is the only Subaru dealership in Chattanooga but I will be traveling elsewhere from here on - I recommend others do the same. More
The dealership had a very easy to use online setup that allowed me to try to find the car I was looking for! Unfortunately we were not able to purchase the car we ordered due to time constraints on our end allowed me to try to find the car I was looking for! Mickey Dorsey helped me out when he knew that he would not benefit directly from this specific visit. I brought my wife’s Ascent to have it checked out for a recent recall. I was a little behind for the scheduled appointment due to a number of things. Bad part about it is that I couldn’t get in touch with anyone from the Chattanooga dealership. The phone numbers provided are directed oos for whatever reason. Service guys were dead set against having it looked at and I wasn’t happy at all. I was pulling out and decided that I didn’t want this vehicle any longer because of the way they handled things. I parked the Ascent and went in to talk to a salesperson. Mickey comes out and I ask him how much they would give me for the vehicle. He knew that I wasn’t pleased with how things were handled. Fast forward — he was very understanding and said he would go check to see what he could possibly have done. I know that it’s not fun as a salesperson to get involved too much with the service department. I’m in sales and my dealership has a service department. He handled things professionally with me and with his teammates. He didn’t make them feel inferior or like he was stepping on toes, but he got the job accomplished. You can tell that he garners a ton of respect from his team and that meant a lot. What stood out the most is that he knew that he wasn’t going to benefit from me that day, but he took actions that you won’t see very often in today’s world. I’m not detailing all of what he did for me, but trust me that he’s the man you want handling your visits. I will do business with Mickey if and when I need something. I will always tell people about the EXTRAordinary job that he did for me. It left a big impression on me. Thanks, Mickey! More
