Hello Kendall Irwin, Thank you for your review. We hope this recap of our conversation during your visit is helpful to you. We determined that you had a nail in one tire covered under your tire warranty. Due to supply chain issues, we did not have your tire size in stock. It was also significant to note that your tires had almost 40,000 miles of wear, and the threads were 5/32 deep. Because of Subaru’s Symmetrical All Wheel Drive System, Subaru requires all the tires on their cars to be close to or equal thread depth. A new tire is approximately 9/32 depth. The other three tires on your vehicle were all at 5/32. Your warranty does not pay for worn tires. We ordered new tires for you, receiving them in less than 48 hours. Your response does not make up for your less than mediocre service. “Supply chain issue” is an excuse I’ve heard since I’ve been a customer with you all. The tire on the car is a stock tire so it should be in inventory at all times to create an easier and more efficient service experience for your customers. I called two neighboring Subaru dealerships on 12/22, the day my tires were supposed to arrive, and they informed me they had the tires in stock. Warranty on the tires is 70,000 miles, not 40,000. I understand a warranty doesn’t cover wear and tear, that isn’t why I was there or what I expected. I expected a professional experience with your service department, instead I was taken advantage of during the holiday season.
