I purchased a 2014 Kia Optima Ex last week. I just moved here from NYC where I hadn't driven a car in a while. My fiance and I were referred to Michael by a friend and we're so thankful. There was one a couple hours South of St. Pete that was trying to get rid of the rest of their new 2013 Optimas and couldn't match the price. I really don't know how they made any money on me. All of the people were lovely and helpful. Overall great experience and I'm thrilled with my purchase. I highly recommend this dealership, especially Michael Cornell. More

***BEWARE*** As you are sitting there filling out the paperwork to purchase, ROBERT SHAW will sell the vehicle you want right out from under you. Unfortunately we were mislead and out and out lied to reg paperwork to purchase, ROBERT SHAW will sell the vehicle you want right out from under you. Unfortunately we were mislead and out and out lied to regarding the hold and/or deposit policy stating that they are in business to sell cars not to hold cars. We called to inquire if the vehicle we were interested in was still available before ever leaving our house, and we were told that after 5:30 pm the vehicle would be available for purchase so we drove 30 minutes to see it and take it for a test drive. We determined that we would like to purchase the vehicle and began negotiating the deal along with our trade in. We came to an agreement on price and began to fill out the necessary paper work only to find out that another couple did in fact put a deposit on the same vehicle which we were told was not their policy. We were told different things and oddly NO ONE seemed to know that there was a "deposit" on the very SAME vehicle. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE???!!! We were pursuing a vehicle that was already spoken for. We feel ultimately the other couple offered more so we lost the deal even though we were sitting there filling out the paperwork to purchase the SUV. We were completely dumbfounded when Robert Shaw, the Manager came up to us and stated that someone else was buying the vehicle. What a COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND ENERGY. Purchasing a vehicle is an emotional decision and being toyed with was not a very pleasant experience. The following day we received a quality control call and we expressed our dissatisfaction with the entire process. WE HAVE NOT HEARD ANOTHER THING FROM CROWN. We consider this to be very poor customer service and an overall poor buying experience completely validating the stereotypical view of a USED CAR SALESMAN. More

Unfortunately I was in a wreck on Jan 13 that resulted in my car being totaled. I desperately looked for cars for weeks, in town and out of town. I have NEVER financed a vehicle before I came to this dealership, so as you can imagine, my 24 year old self was very nervous. Chris Jensen and Robert Shaw took very good care of me. They helped me finance my car without any hassle. The entire experience of buying my car from this lot was amazing. They made me feel like they really cared and wanted me to drive away in this car. And that I did. I would recommend this dealership to ANYONE. The customer service I received was outstanding and I'd come back and buy another vehicle from them.
