Dispute on service I took my 2014 Kia Sorento for service on May 29th for oil change, etc. John came for me when it was finished and told me there were recommendations I took my 2014 Kia Sorento for service on May 29th for oil change, etc. John came for me when it was finished and told me there were recommendations for additional work: replace air filter and rear alignment. Each item cost about $40 on top of the charge for oil change. When I looked at the work summary the next day, I found that a full alignment was done (rear and front) and the cost was $99. When I talked to him about it, he said he told me it would be full alignment and the cost was $99. 1) I would not have agreed to an additional $100 charge and 2) I don't know anything about alignment so I couldn't have come up with the description "rear alignment" for a cost of ~ $40. We have a difference in what was said and now my trust has eroded. I don't think I will go back. More

He helped us narrow down our choice of model by comparing the different aspects of each model after he had listened to what we were looking for in a car that would be perfect for us. We were especially interested in hybrid vehicles and he very capably explained how the hybrid system works and the many benefits it offered. James showed an impressive knowledge of all the Kia vehicles and could even compare them to other brands we were considering shopping for. In working with Khamphong Keovongsa on our trade in, they were both very quick and professional in searching for the best price in the valuation of our Jeep and we were very happy with the trade in value. Todd Johnson in the financial department was also very friendly and informative and took the time to explain all the loan terms and extended warranties that we wanted to purchase. Our test drive was full of helpful instruction on the tech features and we were very impressed with the simplicity of the system in linking with our phones. We were dreading car shopping as we have had negative past experiences, but this dealership did not use any of the intimidating tactics we had seen before. Also, Kia's reputation for dependable, affordable cars had us half sold on one of their vehicles before we walked in the door, but reviews don't close the sale. James is a real treasure, an open, friendly and sincere person. . He wants us to come back any time if we have questions or need further instructions, and that is very reassuring. Overall, our entire experience was exceptional and pleasant. We will happily recommend the dealership to our friends. Thank you Crown Kia! More
