I sent in an internet inquiry for a vehicle I had been keeping my eye on for about two weeks on their website. When I sent in the inquiry, I was pleased to have received a call from a manager and a sales keeping my eye on for about two weeks on their website. When I sent in the inquiry, I was pleased to have received a call from a manager and a sales representative within about 15 minutes to discuss the vehicle. I spoke with the sales representative in detail about what I was looking for and advised I would likely stop by the following weekend to take a look at the car. I spoke with her later in the week and confirmed I would be in and made an appointment since I would be driving close to 50 miles to get there. The day I went in to look at the car, I noticed some wiring running all over the engine bay and was told by the sales representative that this was relating to the iPod adapter that was an aftermarket addition by the previous owner. I have worked in the auto related industry for a while and know that this was not the case and there was a reason there are unnecessary wires running to the battery. I test drove the car and after some contemplation decided to make a fair offer in relation to the type of vehicle, mileage, condition, and how long this vehicle has been in dealer inventory. I also had reviewed comparable vehicles that are listed on autotrader.com, cars.com, and yahoo.com autos. I knew my initial offer was low yet fair. But who goes into a car dealership knowing that they will get a vehicle for the bottom offer they make. After discussion with my sales representative my offer was rejected. I made another offer and was met with the same rejection. At no time was a counter-offer ever presented that was not the list price of this vehicle. What I failed to mention before was that the price on the internet had gone down since I initially saw this vehicle weeks before and when I had gone in to look at it. I realized there was little room to negotiate, but when a car salesperson doesn’t budge off the list price and comes back with the list price as the lowest offer, this is a bit insulting to any consumer. I have purchased my last four vehicles off the Internet and am not unfamiliar with how Internet pricing works. After this deadlock, I discussed my concerns with the sales person and asked that she review it with her manager as I was told he was not in on the day I had gone in. I requested she follow up with me once known. I left and drove the 50 miles back home. Later that evening when I was talking to my sister, she let me know that she had purchased her two current vehicles and one prior vehicle from this family of dealerships. She assured me they were easy to work with and would come through given her experiences with them. The next day I never heard anything. Two days after my visit, I emailed my sales representative to find out what had happened and also mentioned that I had family who had purchased three vehicles from this family of dealerships and complimented them on the information I received about it. I received a call back from my salesperson later that day with a lower offer, which was still over what the market price even is on this vehicle given the mileage on it. I asked about another item I wanted them to fix on the vehicle which I was assured could be factored into the price when I had gone in and was told that would be an additional cost if I wanted that done. I again made a counter-offer and was told no and that she would still review with her manager despite this. I mentioned to her I had found more vehicles in the area that had lower miles and were priced competitively to their unit and I would take my business there if there was nothing this dealer was going to help me with. A few hours later, I received a call from a manager who was very cold and harsh. The overall tone of his call was this is our offer, take it or leave it and there would be no more discussion about it. There was no dialogue on what could be done or what we could do to make some sort of deal on this vehicle. To make matters worse, when I checked this dealer’s website again that evening, the price had been dropped another $500. I have become so frustrated at the way this dealership has handled this entire car buying process. It baffles me how a car dealership can treat its potential customers this way, especially given the state of the economy at this time. I would think they would want to do business with someone who is trying to give them money. I’m wondering if they treat all cash buyers in this manner since they will not make anything off the financing. I do know one thing for certain, despite my family having purchased three cars from this group of dealerships, I will make sure they and anyone else I know hears about this experience. I will definitely make sure that my family does not do business with this group of dealerships in the future. More
My "car buying" experience at Crown Honda was better than great, it was outstanding. My intention was to purchase a Toyota Camry but they happened to be closed that day and I found myself at Cro better than great, it was outstanding. My intention was to purchase a Toyota Camry but they happened to be closed that day and I found myself at Crown Honda. From the minute I was greeted when I walked in the front door to the time I drove off the lot with my new Honda Accord I was treated like a "friend" as opposed to a customer and never once did I feel under pressure to purchase anything other than what I wanted. The saleman, Neal Turoff was so knowledgeable and had an answer to all my questions which I had plenty because I was a previous Ford owner and been loyal to Ford for years and knew nothing about Honda. I am glad to say that has since changed and I will definately be a repeat customer at Crown Honda. I can honestly say this was the best car buying experience I have ever had and that is because of Neal Turoff, (and Vincent in the finance dept)and all others that I was in contact with during the transaction. My sincere thanks to all of you and I will make sure to refer any friends or family members of mine that needs a new or used car to Crown Honda! More

I researched into a new Honda for my wife and I over the past couple of weeks. We had a vehicle to trade in. I set an appointment up and met Jack, who was great and very personable. I would work with him past couple of weeks. We had a vehicle to trade in. I set an appointment up and met Jack, who was great and very personable. I would work with him in the future at another dealer if he moved from Crown. At any rate, I am assuming he was the used car manager, basically gave us a terrible offer for our trade. It was so low that I felt as if they did not even want to deal with me at all. I told them I felt insulted by the offer and when Jack attempted to talk with the manager about it, I heard him tell Jack that he felt insulted that I felt my car was worth more than what they offered. I have bought and traded cars in the past with some not so easy to work with dealerships, but I have never felt like the dealer did not even want to do business with me. I asked for my keys back and went to another Honda dealer and bought a new Honda within an hour of walking in the place. We are very happy with our purchase and the service we got from them. I will not do business with Crown Honda ever again for the main reason of the "manager" saying what he did and acting so unprofessional. More
The only reason I go to Crown is because of Michele. The service she offers is awesome. Knowledgeable on every aspect. Never tries to take advantage of my lack of automobile knowledge. I have had my truck s service she offers is awesome. Knowledgeable on every aspect. Never tries to take advantage of my lack of automobile knowledge. I have had my truck serviced there and in mentioning that I had some staining on my car seat, Michele, said she would take care of it, and it was done. I could not believe that this was accomplished. I will continue to deal with Crown Honda and Michele. A great personality, along with knownledge of my Honda product.... Mother would be proud More

About a month ago I had been put on a mission by my father to find two 2012 Honda Fits for my brother and I. We checked the local dealer here in Naples and were severely disappointed by the service (di father to find two 2012 Honda Fits for my brother and I. We checked the local dealer here in Naples and were severely disappointed by the service (didn't even ask us if we wanted help) and prices offered, especially considering we were out to buy Two cars. Unsatisfied by what we found in Naples, I started searching the internet for every Honda dealer in Southwest Florida. After calling or emailing ~8 dealers, Jack Goldstein at Crown Honda was the first to respond. Right from the get-go, Jack was great to work with, he answered every question I had, he understood I had done my research and wasn't looking to get the runaround I was receiving at every other dealer. Talking with Jack was like talking to a friend, no pressure, honest and super friendly. He contacted me back with a great price and options the very first time, and having done extensive research, I knew it was a great deal and not far from the Factory Invoice cost of the car. Not a single other dealer came close to his price, all other competing prices were at least 700 dollars or more above his. Due to Jack's extremely professional and courtesy service, my mother and I made the 165 mile drive to Crown Honda and were welcomed by Jack on the spot. We were greatly pleased to not only find everything in order, but we were even able to choose from 6 different colors, so my brother and I got the exact car we each wanted. We were able to pick out our cars, fill out all the paper work and drive away with our new cars in no time at all. I would highly recommend Jack Goldstein at Crown Honda, he is by far the absolute best person I have bought a car from. More

Crown Honda was the only Honda dealer to offer a discount on the 2012 CR-V, all other dealers my wife and I contacted simply quoted the MSRP. But what made our experience with Crown Honda very special is the on the 2012 CR-V, all other dealers my wife and I contacted simply quoted the MSRP. But what made our experience with Crown Honda very special is the great service we received from Derrick Silers, their internet salesman. Although, like most new car buyers, we had thoroughly researched the CR-V, Derrick provided even more information on the vehicle when we arrived for our meeting. In all my years of buying, and sometimes "suffering", through the process of purchasing a new car, this transaction was, without question, the smoothest of them all. Derrick made sure we received fair value for our trade-in, and it was wonderful not having a "back-and-forth" once we agreed upon the amount our car would fetch. We were also very pleased with the "after-the-sale" support that Derrick provided, he answered all our questions regarding vehicle maintenance, bluetooth operations, etc.; I'm sure some of the calls to his cell likeley interrupted his work, but he always took the time to help and ended our chat with, "Call me if you need anything else". Great guy. Generally, salespeople reflect the instructions, attitude and guidelines that filter from above, so Crown Honda must have a great management team as well. Thanks Derrick. More
After doing a good bit of research, which included checking the information on this site, and using the USAA car buying service, my husband and I met with Jack to talk about a 2011 CR-V. Jack went th checking the information on this site, and using the USAA car buying service, my husband and I met with Jack to talk about a 2011 CR-V. Jack went the extra mile to find a car which met my criteria and there was no hard sell to settle for something less. I was not totally committed to buying a car, but after talking with him, I felt very comfortable and knew we were getting a good deal. We were also very comfortable talking with Jim Hesselgrave, the Finance Manager, and there was no hard sell with him, either. Overall, I can't imagine a less stressful car buying experience! More
