She kept me posted on the progress of my a/c repair - I wasn't left stranded, not knowing when my car might be ready or what the total cost would be. Overall, except for somewhat higher rates than local repair shops, I have had excellent service from Crown Honda and would not hesitate recommending them to friends and family. AND if you are considering purchasing a Honda, don't go to any other dealership but Crown. I purchased my Civic from Crown 8 years ago and I have nothing but positive things to say about the entire transaction. No one tried to hassle or hustle me - I was treated with courtesy and respect - which for a woman purchasing a vehicle on her own - was a welcome relief from some of the unprofessional conduct of the sales staff at other dealerships. Best Dealership Experience EVER! I just returned home from deployment 2 nights ago. I used USAA's Car Buying Service to purchase my 2014 Honda Odyssey EX-L. Mr. John Gates was my sale I just returned home from deployment 2 nights ago. I used USAA's Car Buying Service to purchase my 2014 Honda Odyssey EX-L. Mr. John Gates was my sales representative. Mr. Gates kept in contact with me flawlessly even though I was ahead 7 hours in the Middle East. All of my wants and needs were heard and met, therefore we closed on a deal within 2 days. I was still 3 weeks away from coming home though. Mr. Gates kindly waited until the night I returned home to send in my electronic loan check to USAA so that I would not have to start paying on my loan for a vehicle that I did not physically have in my possession. The BEST unexpected part was that Mr. Gates waited at Tampa International Airport for me upon my return home with my new vehicle. I was supposed to arrive at TPA at 11:05 p.m. on May 12th. My plane delayed twice pushing my arrival to 11:50 p.m. He patiently waited in the middle of the night, greeted me with a smile and introduced me to my 2014 Honda Odyssey!!! I was in awe by Crown Honda's exceptional service. Mr. Gates readily awaiting with my new vehicle allowed me to travel to the other side of the state to pick up my 2 girls after a long deployment. I am 31 years old, this is my 8th vehicle since the age of 16 and this hands down is the best dealership experience/service that I have ever received. I have dealt with/purchased vehicles from both Brandon Honda and Kuhn Honda as well in the Tampa Bay Area... In both instances, I felt with them as soon as I signed the dotted line, their assistance and friendliness stopped. Not with Crown Honda and not with Mr. Gates. All service members have a lot on my plate upon returning home from a deployment, but getting back into a vehicle wasn't one of them for me. More
Great Dealership with personable sales staff My credit leaves a lot to be desired but Ricardo did everything he could to make sure I drove off the lot with my 2014 Honda Civic coupe. I needed to stay in a certain budget and he worked with me and the finance people to get me the interest rate to keep me in the payment range I needed. Knowing I had this issue Ricardo never considered moving on to another customer knowing he might not be able to make the deal. He made sure I knew where I could get drinks during the wait to finalize everything and was attentive during the process. I do not intend to buy another car but if I did I would choose Crown Honda. My son intends to purchase a vehicle from them within the year. He was with me during the process and was also impressed. More

One day before the appointment, I received a confirmation call. On the day of the appointment, I was welcomed at the drive though, signed in and was directed to my customer service agent, John "Gerald" McLaughlin. He was extremely courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful in determining my car's needs and enable reasonable costs for the service. I proceeded to the waiting area where I was provided a complimentary copy of USA Today and a cup of coffee. Literally before I knew it,Gerald returned to share that the service had been completed. He coordinated my check out and I asserted that I looked forward to seeing him next time around. An excellent all around experience. More
UPDATE: The salesman was Ricardo Hernandez. The 1 star UPDATE: The salesman was Ricardo Hernandez. The 1 star is for at least having color, year, brand, and miles right on the vehicle we drove 55 minutes UPDATE: The salesman was Ricardo Hernandez. The 1 star is for at least having color, year, brand, and miles right on the vehicle we drove 55 minutes away from home to go see, but that's it. 2 weeks ago my Wife and I looked at a used truck on their lot. I was ignored by sales staff, though to be fair most were busy with customers. At the truck is where the worst of it is. Again to be fair, the truck was a 2003 with 105,000 miles on it and I was expecting to see wear and tear on it within reason, such as scratches, moderate stains inside, half wear on the tires, and some rust underneath for a one owner, car fax guaranteed Florida vehicle, with a good service history. In the Advertising from a popular paid Internet site (I have the hard copy for any to examine for themselves), under the comments section about the vehicle (VIN:1N6ED29XX3C417471), "There appears to be no damage beyond normal wear on this vehicle." "All prices plus sales tax, tag and titling, and dealer service fee of $697.00, which represents cost and profits to the selling dealer for items such as cleaning, inspecting, adjusting new vehicles and preparing documents related to the sale. A Better Way to Buy." This one is my favorite of the problems with the truth and integrity of their advertising: "Caution! Before you buy, give us an opportunity! WE WILL NOT LOSE YOUR BUSINESS OVER PRICE!!" 1) Car Fax certifies that this vehicle has not been in an accident. (If you don't fix the damage and report it then how can Car Fax update their records?) 2) Passenger side "B" pillar at the top has a small section of severe rust. 3) On the passenger side, rear wheel outer bed skin/wheel well housing lip was dented affecting proper fit and finish of molding. I questioned if it had been unprofessionally put back on instead of fixing the damage and I got no answer but that the truck is used and being "sold as is". 4) 6 inch dent in rear bumper with rust forming on top of rear bumper in same location. 5) The interior was dirty, not horrible, but obvious it hadn't been cleaned, with grime on steering wheel that would wipe off and on the shifter as examples. 6) The engine bay was dirty and the oil had been changed. 7) The truck had a hole rusted in the muffler and the cats were rusting (not compromised yet) as well as bumpers, some suspension pieces, etc. I'm now only remotely considering the truck because it is a rare color with long bed option, I can fix over time with help from family and friends much of what is wrong. Again a lack of Honesty and Concern from the salesman has compelled me to look very hard at everything. Would you blame me? I started the truck and let it warm. While it was running I looked under the engine. I saw directly under where the engine couples to the transmission, a steady fast leak.I asked him what he thought, is it oil? Transmission fluid? He looked and said he didn't know. I put my finger in it and saw the same clear color as the oil, it was slimy as oil, not "wet" or antifreeze smelly like coolant, not red or dirty red (ATF) it's oil. I asked him if he agreed, He said yes. Another salesman in the area proceeded to ask me how I knew it was leaking, further explaining , cars "frequently leak water" with the A/C on. I put my finger in it again with him watching and showed him, he said nothing and walked away. I explained to my salesman, I was uneasy about taking a test drive when the truck only holds approx. 4 qts of oil and leaking fast. I recapped and asked him to just be honest with me here being as I'm a motivated buyer, with money, ready to buy at the right price and that a vehicle as poorly represented as this is obviously in wholesale condition. He again said the dealer will not negotiate on the price. My Wife was understandably very upset with our salesman, how we were being treated, wanting me to leave. I thought perhaps I was not clear. I asked if instead the dealer would fix all the issues so that it was as represented, making the price fair (I told him in the beginning if it was as advertised, I felt the asking price was fair, wow). He said the dealer is selling the truck "as is" and will not fix it. He continued, the price is set fairly and the dealer sets their price accordingly. I clarified by asking, "does that mean the price is on the sticker?" and "this is a dealer like the old Saturn dealers, that do not engage in bartering?" He said yes. I asked, "so that's it?" He just smiled and said yes. I left. In Conclusion: I bought a Honda from a large dealer in Tampa that was accurate in how they represented their vehicle. As a Soldier, I have no reservations about recommending the dealer that was honest, and I have no reservations about steering as many people away from Crown Honda as I can based on this experience. Before when you would arrive at Crown someone would meet you when you pulled up today Got service department at 9:30 for a 10AM appointment. Before when you would arrive at Crown someone would meet you when you pulled up today not one was there after no one came to talk to me I went inside. I was waiting for a service person to get off the to find out who I should talk to when a not so pleasant lady asked me if I had signed in I said no. She said "well you need to sign in" and walked away. I might have been nice if there was a sign that said please sign in on the door, on the , wall or anywhere. I guess I should have turned on my mind reading powers before walking into building. I spoke to the service writer and did the paperwork for the recall work I needed. I was told I should have my car back in about 2 hours. I was also informed that I could get a ride from the courtesy shuttle. I said no because last time the courtesy ride took an hour an hour to drop me off. I completely understand that I was the last person to be dropped off because where I need to go was in the other direction of the other people. I figured why ride in a van for an 30-60 minutes again just have to head back in hour. I could have even called a co-worker to have come pick me up but it was not worth it. At 10 o'clock I saw one of the porters move my car from the service line and drive around the building. I was curious to see what was actually going to be done to my car so I walked around the building to see what was going to be done. I saw the porter park the car in the back parking lot and the car sat there for over an hour and nothing happened. I understand they might be busy and I understand no one can really tell how long a job might actually take but I am pretty sure they knew they were busy and all they had to do was inform me in the beginning that it will take awhile before anyone sees the car. If would have known that it was going to take that long I would have gotten ride to work. When I asked the service writer for my keys he did not even ask why and got someone to pull my car up from the back. More

As is our habit we offered a 'total price' which was to include "all expenses" involved in trade in, purchase, registration and license. We wrote a check for the full purchase price. When picking the vehicle up, we were handed ONE KEY and NO FOB, with promises that the dealer would "look around" to see if they had the second key and fob. They said they "couldn't find it". So, the long and short of it is that we were told by a locksmith that it will cost us $800.00 to get a key and a fob for our car (or perhaps two new keys and a fob if the lock needs re programing). Well over the 'total price' we negotiated with the dealer. Had we known the expense involved in replacing the key and fob the check would have been cancelled and the car returned. After submitting a negative review of our situation, Crown Honda called us and said, "we will make this right". And they did. Guess it was just miscommunication, or something. They took the car to the local Toyota dealer, where a new key was programmed, and it was determined by their shop techs that the car was NOT programmed for a keyless entry system. Who knew? NO additional charge to us. In any event, I have to say that Crown stepped up and took care of the situation in a timely and courteous manner, and I Thank them for that. More
I found the listing through USAA and called to verify the condition of the vehicle. I was forwarded to Frank who inspected the vehicle and described it in a manor that supported the 250 mile drive from Tall condition of the vehicle. I was forwarded to Frank who inspected the vehicle and described it in a manor that supported the 250 mile drive from Tallahassee. Having dealt with several other dealerships before this one, I was very pleasantly surprised that the vehicle matched Frank's description and that the vehicle surpassed my expectations. It looked and drove as good as a new one and Frank had filled the tank and set it to the side because he thought I would be tired from the 500 mile round trip. This was the most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had....when the time comes to buy my daughter her first car, I will be calling Frank. More
